Senior: Hamilton has been a blast. As a student who has moved around a lot I feel very lucky to spend my high school years in Hamilton. The teachers truly love each student and are very supportive. I feel very ready for college and feel prepared because of how Hamilton has pushed me and helped me grow. Some of my best memories have been when I am at the games or plays. I have few bad memories from Hamilton, the only thing I could say would need to be worked on would be support fro all sports and activities not just soccer, football, and volleyball.... Senior: What I really like about Victor is how close everyone is. I like how laid back the school is, but also they push you to do your best. The main reason I came to victor was that it was a small school with lots of great people. The only thing I dislike about Victor is it is run very poorly. The administration office runs the school a bit weird and doesn't always make the best decisions. Alum: During my time at Corvallis High School I found it to be very limiting. Even though it is a fairly small school in a small town community, students were treated like a number rather than a young adult with many opportunities ahead. The school didn't do well at college prep, nor did they offer opportunities to workshops, fairs, or chances to make connections and help you start your future plans. I was involved in the distance running program through Cross Country and Track and Field and found their program to be a helpful and positive one. I would recommend Corvallis High School's sports in that aspect. Their facilities are limited however, and the school could use remodel. Senior: Florence-Carlton high school has a great atmosphere which welcomes student-athletes as well as being flexible and able to assist them when needed. The culture of the classroom is more calm and very electronically centered when it comes to school work. There are many resources available for all students whenever they are necessary. Most of the teachers are amazing and willing to help as much as possible. Some are not as helpful and some don't tend to interact all that much with the students. Parent: Darby Junior High has a plenty of caring teachers. They are supportive and willing to take the time every child needs to benefit them. With sports available for 6th through 8th grade students are allowed the chance to become star-athletes. The coaches are adaptable and fair to all players and make sure they are confident with the basics of a sport while teaching them techniques for their future- in life and in sports. The small community is very family oriented.
