Works Here: I like that there is a full time para in the kindergarten class. There are more paras on this campus than on any other campus I have visited. The staff are a great bunch of people that enjoy working together as a team. Students learn a lot from watching the people they are involved with. Parent: We love this school. We moved to AZ 2 years ago, and after multiple incidents of my daughter being bullied at one of the public schools, we enrolled her into Legacy. The teachers and staff are amazing! They have music and art classes which sadly are not available at the public schools. My daughter has built strong friendships with her classmates, and there is no bullying. I see Legacy students and parents where I work in maricopa, and the children all tell me how much they enjoy Legacy and that everyone is always kind to one another. They do flag ceremony in the morning and recite the pledge of allegiance. There is a lot of homework and studying to be done, but I think it’s exactly what children need. Alum: I really liked my time there, it was a very fun and challenging experience for me. The part that I loved about being at ASU prep was working independently in the hallway, English/Gov./ Econ., and Senior Seminar, which really helped me get ready for college. Also something that I really loved was the Mental Health days, in which the psychology class organized activities to help us relax during test days. The most challenging part was the school system, because I moved to the US on my senior year and the school system for high school is very different, but I had a lot of help from my teachers and peers, and that helped me get caught up with everything. A change that I would like to see would be lunch break, because I feel like it wasn’t enough to recharge and eat, so maybe a longer lunch break.... Read 77 reviews

Alum: I only attended Legacy Traditional School when I moved to Arizona before my 8th-grade year. While I was there I can safely say that it was 1000 times better than my old middle school. Senior: Although I will admit that Mission Heights is not for everyone, I have enjoyed attending it for my high school years. I have been at Mission for four years, and have been pleased with what I have experienced. Mission is a small school, and my class consists of only 101 people. The teachers are incredible and genuinely care about their students' learning. I have never once hesitated to go to a teacher if I needed assistance, advice, or just someone to confide in. That being said, the school is lacking in major sports opportunities and the stereotypical "high school experience" that many upcoming students crave. Overall, I would recommend Mission to anyone who thrives in a small, close knit environment, but would suggest that anyone seeking a large school with lots of opportunities look elsewhere.... Parent: My children have attended EDUPRIZE since Kindergarten. WE LOVE THIS SCHOOL! The teachers and administration are top notch. They over sports, clubs and educational scheduling for my kiddos who participate in extra-curriculuar activities. We love the cottages and the cottage fairs! Everyone is always so helpful and happy. Niche User: Pima Butte provided me the essential academic foundation to transition into middle school. The teachers are enthusiastic and devoted to their students, ensuring that everyone understands academic content. Despite large classes, teachers make the effort to involve everyone and know them personally. Their best characteristic revolves around school spirit. The student-teacher relationship are like family. New students have no problem assimilating into the school since everyone is friendly, making school transitions an exciting experience. I love about the school how charitable they are. They often organize events with McDonald's, raising raise money for good causes. They have Locks of Love and Bald for Bucks, cancer awareness events where students and teachers cut their hair off. Senior: I came back to American Leadership Academy after leaving the bad conditions of Higley. Overall, I'd say that the classes are decent, the teachers are great, and the students are friendly and fun to hang around. I enjoyed running cross country and getting to know my peers more throughout this time as well. As for what I'd like to see changed, some of the rules are inconsistent from teacher to teacher, and it really depends on what type of personality you are dealing with in the classroom. Also, I feel that not enough funding goes into classroom management, resources, and curriculum. More than once I have seen the computers break down in my Software and APP class, and the chrome books are extremely slow. Overall, I think this school is very good, but not exceptional.... Senior: It's a smaller school so that could be either good or bad for an individual based on their type of behavior. Get involved, seriously. There are so many interesting, different people there. Get involved with the people, understand your teachers/staff better, go to dances and sports events when you can because Pathway can be a lot of fun. I didn't start genuinely appreciating high school until my junior year and that's because I found a group of people that made everything worth it.
