Logan Elm High School
#3 Best Public High Schools in Pickaway County

Freshman: As a student at Logan Elm, I’ve come to find our school has many faults. We don’t have air conditioning, computer accessibility is quite low, and we don’t have the safest school grounds. My school consists of one main building, the trailers, and the AG barn. Students have to walk out in the open every day, with little to no protection. Parents became worrisome, they asked the school for a levy, proposing we destroy all the different elementaries and have one big campus k-12. 2022-2023 should be the year when the first students can walk the new halls, although right now we do not have the best learning environment, we are a family. I believe that living in these small towns in such a rural area, it has brought us closer together and I am proud to say I am a Logan Elm student. The teachers have to be the kindest people I have met, overall they really care about the students and encourage us to do great things with our lives. Logan Elm will always be held close to my heart.

Senior: I love Teays Valley so much. I have had amazing teachers all four teachers and love all of them. I love the friends that I have made here and I am very sad to leave high school. I enjoy my time at Teays Valley, the academics are amazing, we offer many classes for different personalities and different hobbies!

Parent: Smaller classes
Teachers that work with students
Great athletic programs
Westfall is one of the schools that are not well-known.
Westfall deserves recognition for all of their work and great teachers and coaching staff.
My family is not from the pickaway county area moved here in 2008 after moving here have noted that all people at Westfall are great. Parents, teachers, grandparents all work well together for the students.
Many fund raising events are done do to Westfall School district does not have newer schools and needs extra money. Money needs to be raised due to they do not have up to date things that other schools have.
To end this Westfall is the greatest School and I appreciate everyone thought is helping my children everyone that has assisted my children academically, mentally and athletically.

Junior: Personally I believe the school has changed a lot and a lot of improvements have been made since 2015/2016. There has been more decoration on the walls and school lunches have been improved. There are a few teachers who truly don’t care but overall i’ve been with many teachers who don’t only care about academics but how you’re actually doing. Also I don’t like the politics of everything. If somebody has a certain last name and it happens to be a family who helps out with a lot of money they get off the hook easier or they get whatever they want athletics wise. It all kind of sucks especially when you work harder than them but they still get whatever you want. Overall it’s a good school though.

Senior: I like the small community and the closeness that I am able to have with my classmates. I love how the teachers can be more focused on each student because of the small class sizes. My school always feels safe. I would like to see more opportunity for electives, AP courses, clubs etc. Being a small school, we struggle to offer these things.
