Senior: Kelly Walsh High School is a phenomenal place to earn a high school diploma. There is a huge focus placed on the four pillars of the school: Academics, Acceptance, Activities, Athletics. There are a ton of classes available to students. There’s multiple foreign languages, extremely well funded CTE and music departments, and multiple levels for need based classes. Acceptance is a huge deal too! Rodstock is a music festival put on once a year by the school, where anyone who wants to share their talent of performance can. Even if someone may not have the best performance, they receive immense praise from the student body. There are tons of clubs also. If a student doesn’t have a club that suits them, they are able to easily create one. All they need is a faculty member to help them get started. Possibilities are endless! Junior: All my life, throughout elementary and middle school I was moved back and forth from Wyoming and Nebraska, town to town, school to school. End of freshman year I moved from Burns High School in Burns Wy to Natrona. Immediately i knew that was the school I wanted to stay at and graduate from. The teachers are the perfect balance of being able to teach and provide to the entire school, while still being able to have one on one connections and helping students the way the individually need. The school has the perfect amount of spirit, making all activities, clubs, and sports so much fun. I also love the schedule, four classes a day for one semester as a full credit. I believe that it gives the students less stress by having less classes,(less homework), to worry about at one time. The only issue I have ever experienced was the students, not personally, but incidents where some went too far with others. Middle School Student: So, I’m an eighth grader, and it’s my third year at CY. Overall, it’s an amazing school. Our arts programs (classroom-wise) are pretty good, and we rated top for the state in our math scores on WYTOPP. I love the theatre program here, and lots of kids are in sports. It’s a great environment. I’m also a part of WEB, which stands for, “Where Everybody Belongs.” Our involvement in the lives of new Junior High students is amazing. I love making a difference and staying in contact with anyone struggling to help them out. The ONLY complaint I have about CY is that girls can’t join football.... Read 4 reviews

Junior: Being a Junior at Midwest High School, And have been attending the same school since 6th grade, I think I have a little knowledge about this school. Honestly, the teachers do their absolute best to help the students who really care. I can’t tell you much about the cafeteria because I don’t eat the schools food, but the staff overall are pretty good. This school is great for people who don’t like big schools.... Read 10 reviews

Parent: This school is so welcoming and caring. Every staff member you pass in the hall acknowledges you and makes you feel welcome. Alum: I really enjoyed my experience here. The teachers were all very interested in their own curriculum, which in turn, makes the children interested as well. I also noticed that there was a lot of projects and tests that would help to prepare the students for college. Senior: I really love that the teachers care, and that every student has somebody they trust and can go to if need be. It's more one on one than bigger schools, and the teachers care about your success, they want to see you thrive. I've never felt more looked out for at any other school. Its overall atmosphere is very homey and unlike any other school I've been too. It sucks we don't have sports but we just aren't big enough. However we have a great P.E. teacher who loves to keep the kids moving and healthy, he doesnt grade all students off one criteria, he grades based upon progress and how much work is put in. I love how involved the teachers are and how thoughtful all the staff is. I have had the most amazing experience at Roosevelt High School, I wouldn't exchange it for the world!... Read 6 reviews
