Junior: My experience at the Louisiana School for Math, Science, and the Arts has been unique. The environment has been very welcoming and overall accepting. My time there has been filled with many life lessons and an excellent education. I have created bonds with my professors and other faculty members here. Living on campus has given me a new perspective that no other high school could have given me. The Louisiana school has offered me many opportunities to excel in my life. Senior: I love NSU. I just feel like the idea of adding additional fees per course over 16 hours is unfair. That lessens people’s opportunities and graduating when they may not have the money! Freshman: I enjoyed my first semester at this university because the atmosphere was positive. I never felt like I was alone and it allowed me to feel like I am home. Senior: St Marys is a great school. It is a small Catholic School where everyone knows each other. The academics are great but I wish we had more options for courses. Senior: Throughout my highschool years, Natchitoches Central has done a great job at helping me through my highschool years but also challening me. They do an excellent job at helping prepare you for the real word. Our college level class teachers are amazing, they tell you what college is all about. Highschool is also meant to be fun, getting involved with our student section will provide you with a lot of fun. We have 3 different lunch lines, so pick what you want! We have a lof of clubs and extra curriculum activities that you can get involved with. For example we have beta club. Since Natchitoches Central is a 5A school, you can expect our sport games to be pretty intertaining. Our school provides counsoling, your counseler will answer any questions you have and help you the best they can. We have fun classes such as child development, we even have classes that can teach you to cook.
