Senior: It's a great school if you're looking forward to do sports. The coaches and other students commitment to sport is strong. Academic wise, the school only offers 2 AP class so far (2018). Students can also challenge themselves with college credit plus classes, but the impact on their college applications are not comparable to AP. Teachers are helpful if you know how to ask the right questions. No pressure on students, but if you want to do well, you will have to learn how to study independently. Small school, small community. Students are friendly but hard to be close friends with. If you are confident with computers and technology, your help to teachers here would be appreciated. Overall a good school for independent students with desire for sports.

Senior: Day in and day out we have amazing people making an impact on us, John Glenn is the place to be. The academics are terrific thanks to our teachers staying after school to help us or prepare us better for upcoming tests. Making sure we are prepared and excited to learn by making it fun and enjoyable. Our school makes sure each type of student is involved by creating a ton of clubs and activities. Our environment makes sure students have an opportunity to be the real them and have an amazing way to create bonds with each other that will last a lifetime. I met my best friend when I was a sophomore by being on the volleyball team. We grew inside and outside of the classroom and joined a variety of clubs. We got to make an impact on the people in our community by giving back to them. Whether it is reading to the elementary students, cleaning up our environment around us, to just being able to make someone smile. I am blessed to be apart of this school and it will forever be apart of me.

Parent: I'm glad to have my kids attend such a school that focuses on individualism, against bullying, and still teaches cursive writing! The teachers are very friendly and encourage your child to go above and beyond! Friends are easy to make from what I'm told by my kids and they enjoy learning in such an environment that's safe and full of challenges!

Senior: I have enjoyed the past four years as a student at West Muskingum High School. The teachers and faculty were very helpful. They always enjoyed connecting with the students. I had a variety of classes I was able to choose from to assist in preparing me for higher education. Our student body also had a TON of school spirit! West Muskingum utilized block scheduling for the academic semesters forcing an entire year of content to be taught in half the time. I would have preferred a different way of scheduling classes.

Junior: Tri-Valley, although large compared to other surrounding schools, feels like home. I feel as though there is the right amount of students here, large enough that you can blend in, but small enough that if you need personal, one-on-one help, you will get that. Diversity at TV is non-existent, but if you're looking for a place with decent academics and outstanding athletes and sports, this is where it's at. The majority of our teachers are dedicated to helping students if they need and many are extremely qualified for their jobs. A handful come to mind if you were to ask me about our teaching staff. The only downside to Tri-Valley would be the lack of diversity and the non-existent assemblies/pep rallies (which don't even take place during homecoming week).

Senior: Once I got into High School, I realized that the students here were more friendly and wanted to know who everyone was. The teachers are amazing and want to help you learn. They also want to push you to do better and I trust them to where I can tell them anything. I love learning and the academics here at Philo test my knowledge and make me want to do harder more preparing classes. My schools always makes sure we have a plan after high school and if we're going to college we're taught about scholarships, grants, and loans. The food is definitely not the best but it's definitely not the worst.

Senior: Zanesville High School is a good school. I have been a student here for almost 4 years and most of the bad days I have had, have not a thing to do with the school itself. The staff and student body is full of good people. I like ZHS because of the help the staff is willing to give. There has never been a moment where I have asked a teacher for help, and they have said ¨No.¨ The guidance office is also extremely helpful. Any questions that I have had about college or anything like that, they've answered to the best of their ability. The staff actually cares about us. That is very important. In ZHS I would like to see a few things improve. The amount of trash talk we ZHS students get, is unbelievable. I want to change the societal outlook on our school. I wake up and come to this school every single day, for 6 hours, and I can assure you it is not as ¨trash¨ as everyone says and or thinks. Overall, ZHS is a good school. I have had a great 3 and a half, almost 4 years here.

Senior: The teachers genuinely care about you. When you walk into a classroom, the teachers want to make you smile and they want to make you feel safe and heard in their classroom. This school makes me happy to go in the mornings. And during the summer, all I wanna do is go back to school. I love being there and having a place to go. Most everyone you meet is nothing short of amazing and everyone is very accepting of all students. This school is great.
