Highland High School
- Highland Local School District (Sparta), OH
Niche User: I started at the Highland local school district right from the beginning. The faculty and staff were very supportive in anything you needed, school or personal, and they always made sure to make you feel included and important. Some kids would complain about hating it there and talk about how the school was mostly about sports, which is sort of true. Highland is a pretty small school within a small town and like any school like this, this is what happens especially football. But in my opinion I think that it was a very amazing experience attending this school, they made sure that everyone had something that was in their interest, it was just a matter of signing up for those activities.

Mt. Gilead High School

Junior: Overall my experience with this school is short. I haven't been here long. But I have had amazing experiences. There are always a few quirks that these kinds of things come with. There are a few classes I wish I could take but have now been taken out of my academics. Overall the staff and administration is very good. The principal is a wonderful person and every teacher is amazing. The school board is a bit questionable on some of the cases that they have brought to the communities attention. Overall the students, staff, and everything in between is a wonderful experience.

Northmor High School
- Northmor Local School District, OH
Senior: Overall, Northmor has good staff that are dedicated to making sure that we succeed. There are not a lot of involvement in school clubs and the only way to be involved in the year book is to be an advanced art student that the teacher likes. It is not possible for a student not in art to be involved in making the yearbook. I would also like to see their policy on work release and cell phones change.

Gilead Christian School
- Private School
- Mount Gilead, OH

Alum: Good school if you want a very small, private education. The teachers were generally pretty great. In terms of college preparedness, there are better options. It really depends on how you want to prepare. If you want a Christian education, then its good. If you want to be academically challenged, look for a bigger school with better funding. It depends on what you value. Having said that, I graduated from there and am now pursuing a STEM education and I am doing just fine.
