Alum: Overall, I had a good high school experience. My freshman and sophomore years were quite easy, as I think they should have been, since they allowed me to enjoy the things I learned without being drowned by them. When Junior year came around the difficulty increased, but the quality of the teachers only slightly, leading to a more difficult year. As a result, the Covid pandemic, which struck that spring and sent us home felt more like a breath of fresh air than an exile. Senior year, though, was a complete turnaround. While classes became even more arduous, the quality of the teachers was legendary, and they smoothed out the rough edges of the course material, even making the work enjoyable. These teachers truly cared about their students; not the grades they made, but what they learned and how they improved. For example, I still keep in touch with my calculus teacher, who recommends me books and was willing to tutor me online while in the middle of a screaming crowd at a soccer game.... Read 54 reviews
