Parent: My daughter has attended MVS since Kindergarten. She is now in 6th grade and I could not have asked for a better immersive learning environment to inspire her education. Every single teacher has truly known my child, cared deeply about her, and supported getting the best out of her, scholastically and emotionally. Equal development of EQ & IQ! The entire faculty lives the Core Values of Integrity, Grit, Kindness, and Celebration; holding all students to take ownership and model those values in their daily work and interactions. MVS is a community of highly engaged families, collectively wanting the best for their sons or daughters. We feel blessed to be part of this community and grateful that our daughter has had this amazing experience. I am confident that she will be a leader of tomorrow fueled by her educational foundation from MVS. Bottom line, I highly recommend The Miami Valley School!... Read 73 reviews

Junior: I've gone to Oakwood almost my entire scholastic career and I can tell you there is no other place like it. The teachers are incredible, bullying is pretty much non-existent (in my experience), and the building and the school's history are incredible! Parent: Cohesiveness of faculty is what earns Spire 5 stars! Coaches to teachers, counselors to AT, staff is well oiled machine. Being from Canada pandemic has limited travel but Spire have been excellent communicators (SM, email, zoom, reports, texts, live streams). We know more about school at Spire 4hrs away than when our son attended school 10mins from home. 8 per class. Every teacher has reached out once in the first 8wks & several times since. Our son wanted an alternate science, Spire obliged with online course + local teacher. Athletic facilities unparalleled. Coaches push & challenge, but not negatively. Easily accessible & approachable. Sport science +++ Food healthy & plentiful (neg of other schools). Dorms safe & well supervised. Spire runs like college & our son should have easy transition upon graduation. Although senior year to come, staff already helping choose college that is proper fit for sport & academics. Spire combines school and passion & succeeds at both.... Read 5 reviews

Alum: Overall my experience at CHS was solid. I found the education system oftentimes daunting and not necessarily completely a showing of the necessities for college. For example the abolishment of exams, though very much a stress reliever it also gives that lack of preparation for what’s to come in further education. I found many teachers helpful on the other hand. I’d really like to give appreciation towards the teachers during the 2020-2021 year. Teaching basically two classes because of covid they had to endure arguably more than the students and I want to show my appreciation for that. That would conclude my overall opinion of my experience with CHS. Overall a very strong school in terms of academics!... Read 385 reviews

Sophomore: The Dayton Regional STEM School (DRSS) has an incredibly welcoming environment. All the staff show immense support to the students and encourage them to do their best. As students, we are supportive and respectful of each other and always look out for each other. The curriculum heavily involves the students, including many hands-on tasks allowing them to thrive. DRSS is also very proactive in preparing its students for college, life beyond high school, and giving them opportunities to experience what the workforce looks like today. Overall, DRSS has a caring environment that allows students to grow into the people they are.... Read 141 reviews

Senior: I love the teachers here! They are all very nice and great teachers. The sports, arts, and extra curriculares are great overall. The food served for lunch was recently updated and is very good with lots of options, and there are always new updates. The school has air conditioning, which is very nice to have during the beginning and end of the school year when it can get pretty hot outside. Academically, Alter challenges their students and makes sure they get a great education and are prepared for college. The school is very safe and everyone there is welcoming and nice. The school is very well rounded in arts and in sports.... Read 205 reviews

Parent: We could not love this school more! We are blessed beyond measure to have had the opportunity for our children to attend CJ. Our youngest son will graduate in 2023. Our oldest son graduated in 2021. The change in him from 8th grade to his senior year is amazing. He thrived at CJ. He is an outstanding man of faith and character, and well prepared academically, mentally and emotionally for college and life. He was given every opportunity to find his passion and work on achieving his goals. Even during the difficulties of COVID, the school instituted processes that kept everyone safe while enabling students to keep up with academics. Our youngest son has also found his niche at CJ and is thriving. Our children could not be more different, yet each has found a home at CJ. Every single adult on on the CJ campus cares so much about each student. If you are seeking a strong faith based education with excellent academics, extracurriculars, and a family atmosphere, look no further.... Read 221 reviews

Freshman: I’m at the end of my 8th grade year at Tower Heights and I know everything about the school now. I can tell you that teachers are overall great but that the older the kids get the less that teachers can control them, also many kids get into bad things and aren’t disiplined enough. The school is pretty old, half the bathroom locks are broken and my mom went to the school. Most of the classrooms don’t have doors or windows on them and our principle is super nice but the secretary’s aren’t. However, if school is important to ANY kid, then they can easily sucseed and get the help they need, however, if they don’t it will become very obvious over these 3 years. Also the councilor is amazing and if u ever need help with anything he WILL help ANY student as long as u tell him u need to talk to him, it’s painless I promise.... Read 1 review

Parent: My husband and I wanted an inclusive school that would be an extension of our family, and we found that in the Burgundy Community. We made the decision to send my son to Burgundy in JK and looking back now as he is in the midst of 2nd grade, choosing Burgundy was the best decision. Burgundy is a nurturing community that fosters the whole child, ensuring life long learners. Burgundy leans into a child's individual character and ensures every child is heard and has a voice. My son loves Burgundy and is thriving. I know without a doubt that Burgundy will lay the foundation for my son's continued success, not only in his future academic pursuits, but in life as a whole!... Read 10 reviews
