Senior: My high school experience at Notre Dame was wonderful. The atmosphere is welcoming and the teachers and students are genial. The academics definitely shadow the college prep school reputation this school has, for students are pushed to be the best version of themselves. With this being said however, I wish there were more class options, and the way scheduling works sometimes prohibits students from taking the classes they want due to scheduling conflicts. This school echoes the feeling of a family and a small community of close friends. If you love small schools, this id definitely the atmosphere for you. Alum: As an alumnus of Stroudsburg High School, I am very proud to say that I have grown as a young adult and student. This high school prepared me for my future educational career. Their devoted educators and personnel shaped me into who I am today. The preparation and guidance at this institution are unmatched. I was able to reach the best success in academic achievement thanks to the high preparation of the teachers. Furthermore, the school offers a vast amount of supplies to aid in educational support. Alum: I loved the family oriented atmosphere and the small size of the school. Everybody knows if something is wrong and the teachers are always willing to help and are willing to take time out of their day to help you with your school work. While it is small, there are not as many classes as you would be able to take in a bigger public school, but the classes you do take here are a much higher level and prepare you better for college. My english teacher saved me with Essay bootcamp. Another benefit of a small school is the ability to go on field trips and college tours. Senior: Being a current student at the West High school you experience a lot of different situations, from the typical rumor, to the endless drama and the fights. Like most schools there is a toxicity that plagues the different people in the school like the jealous, insecure, selfish people that are deemed 'popular'. Overall the school has a seemingly endless amount of different after-school activities for all students to get involved with whether it be sports or an artistic activity. The academics of the school are above average compared to some of the other schools in our area, but like most things the students can only be as good and achieve as much as they apply themselves towards. Sophomore: The teachers truly want to see their students succeed! They offer extra help and extra time when trying to prepare for exams, all you have to do it ask! It is not hard to succeed because my guidance counselor encourages me to get involved in as many AP classes as a can while managing a schedule for me to stay on track! Parent: I've been with TEC for about 10years now with my oldest in High School and my two younger kids still elementary students. No school is perfect but I do appreciate the community/family aspect of TEC. The students get to be comfortable with seeing similar faces year after year in our library, gym, art classes, music and more. It is wonderful to see how they grow and hard to watch them move on! There is some room for additional academics to be incorporated and I'd love to see a overhaul of our library with more space for our students as well as variety for books offered to all grades!...
