Marion Local High School
#2 Best Public High Schools in Mercer County
- Marion Local School District, OH
- Rating 3.79 out of 5 33 reviews
Senior: Overall Marion Local was not a horrible high school. I just didn't see the same things that others may have seen. Most people see my high school as easy which I assume is why everyone cheats. I on the other hand found it hard to be competitive without cheating and maintaining good standing with the staff who frankly don't care about the well-being of their students. All in all, I felt as though my education may have been better if elsewhere. However, the social environment was great!...

Fort Recovery High School
#5 Best Public High Schools in Mercer County
- Fort Recovery Local School District, OH
- Rating 4.09 out of 5 43 reviews
Senior: Something very nice about Fort Recovery High school is the small class sizes. Having this allows students to get the critical one-on-one time that they need to succeed. It gives both the teachers and students a chance to know each other and be comfortable both asking and answering questions. Having classes with smaller numbers is also very nice for the students because it gives them a chance to actually know the people that they are attending high school with. Students can form friendships and relationships with each other and can also help each other out with classes and coursework. This is a big thing that Fort Recovery schools are well known for and pride themselves on...

Celina High School
- Celina City School District, OH
- Rating 3.73 out of 5 70 reviews
Alum: Celina High School prepared me for college. The science and math department helped prepare me for my intended major, nursing. The music and arts department was phenomenal. The instructors truly care about the students and allowed us to develop a bunch of close knit friends. There are a wide variety of sports to choose from for both males and females. The administration was very supportive and involved in our education. I always felt safe in our school system. There was a lot of parental involvement and support. There were many parent organizations that raised money to help support the clubs and activities. For the most part, Celina City Schools cares about its students and parents...
