Menominee High School

Senior: It's a decent school with some real potential. The school doesn't have a very large budget but they do their best. Like any school they have a mixture of good and bad teachers, I personally have found a couple that I could connect with which really helped me. The only obvious downside is the school's lack of structure. There have been many changes in the administration and the rules that the school has to seem to change almost every year. Overall I enjoyed my time there.

Bark River-Harris Junior/Senior High School
- Bark River-Harris School District, MI
- 12 reviews
Alum: Bark River-Harris is a very small K-12 school with friendly teachers who are very accessible. The teachers who helped me along the way to graduation have inspired me to be an educator myself. All of the teachers are willing to help as much as is necessary for success. The school is clean and always accessible for community events.

North Central Area Junior/Senior High School
- North Central Area Schools, MI

Senior: North Central is the only school I have ever attended but I'm glad it is because this really is a great school. We are ranked highly on the academics of Michigan and have a great football and basketball team. Back to back undefeated state championships in football and three state championships in basketball, plus we hold the state record for most games won in a row. Our teachers care about our futures and help in every way they can to get us to where we want to be.

Nah Tah Wahsh Public School Academy

Senior: The Nah Tah Wahsh Public School Academy is a great school for education because of our dual enrollment program and student to teacher relationships because we are a small school. A downside is not being able to experience school gatherings or sporting events the way other schools do. An example is we don't get a homecoming but instead a Halloween dance that involves 1/3 of people actually in costume and the rest in normal clothes, or when you see large sporting events like a basketball game, everything is exciting but at Hannahville people seem almost scared to be excited.

High School Senior: There are always ups and downs in high school, you just have to remember that one jerky kid shouldn't ruin your experience. If I could go back to freshman year, I would still choose Carney. I love how close knit the community is, everyone knows everybody! My favorite part about this school is how involved the teachers and faculty members are with the after school clubs and sports.

Wilson Seventh-day Adventist Junior Academy

Alum: I liked the fact that it was a smaller school. There's probably only about 35 students total so there's a lot more one-on-one teacher time. And also, everybody knows everybody there so it's a very close-knit family. I didn't like that 80% of the students there are very sheltered, close-minded, racist, uncultured, etc. I also didn't like the fact that they don't have sports teams.
