Senior: Smoky Valley High School is an institution where I feel safe and validated. The teachers are knowledgeable and always willing to lend a helping hand. Furthermore, they are eager and enthusiastic about teaching. The students are easy to get along with, and it's nice to know almost everyone.
The athletic department at Smoky Valley fosters integrity, pride, and hard work, but also companionship and humility.
Smoky Valley also offers many musical opportunities as well as club opportunities, so there is always something for someone!

Senior: I love Elyria! The teachers their are fantastic! They build one-on-one relationships with each student to really develop a sweet atmosphere. We have some of the best academics in the state. Extracurricular activities are amazing as well. We are a small, private school, so we don't have activities like football or even baseball. But we make up for it with basketball. Both our women's and men's team have gone to state in the last 5 years. We have fantastic coaches!

Canton-Galva Jr/Sr High School

Niche User: I liked about CG was mainly the people at the school. It's a small town school so everyone knows each other. The staff was great and I enjoyed all the teachers I had. This is a great school if someone was interested in sports, unlike me who was not. But for anyone looking for a small school with a great sport team then this the school for them. Overall my experience at Canton Galva was great, it was the best school out of the others I've been at. I'll never forget the memories I made here and the few people who became my friends. Some things I would change would probably be the food, it wasn't the best but most schools don't have the best lunches.

Senior: My experience at a student at McPherson high school could not have gone better. The teachers were there for me, they were there for every student (at least from my knowledge they have been) Our counselors want the best for us and will constantly check up on us. The school promotes good relationships with all students, they encourage the students to get involved with the community and get to know the people in it. There are clubs for all sorts of personalities, and classes for everyone as well. The drama department completes plays/musicals every year that always go amazingly. The shop and auto department are always being improved. Our athletics go above and beyond with having 53 state titles. Mcpherson High School (including the entire distric of 418) is the best district in Kansas. We have an outstanding group of children, families, and teacher.
