Senior: I really enjoyed the small school experience. You have a lot of close friends and everyone knows each other. There isn’t a lot of cliques like there are in the bigger high schools. Everyone knows everyone’s name. The class size always stays small which makes learning much easier. It’s also easier with the small class sizes to get help from a teacher if needed. Having 6th through 12th grade in one school also gives you the opportunity as you get older to help out the younger kids that may be struggling. High School Senior: This was the best school for me to go through as a high schooler. If I were to do it over again I most certainly would have chosen here. As someone who is much more focused on the arts than athletics, I was able to expand my love for visual art and theater through East's great programs. This was where I also met my best friends. My only complaint about the school is the insufficient funds the arts get here. These creative programs are always passed up for athletic programs and teams which leaves a large part of the student body out of the great opportunities that could be offered to them with more funding. Niche User: It's been almost 2 years since I've graduated; but sometimes my Highschool memories come back to me and I just wanted to say that, of course this school wasn't perfect (NO SCHOOL IS ) There were times I've felt like teachers were being difficult but I won't let that represent the whole school as a whole. Any who, The flex mods are great- It helps you as an individual; to be responsible and to use your time wisely, whether that's to just socialize in the commons and do no work or go to a resource to do homework etc. Aside from the flex mods, overall the staff and teachers were great, also each of the teachers/staff that I knew, had humor and their own personality which is great! it offers a lot of diversity into the school, offers many things to the school to create a unique school such as Wausau West High. Senior: My experience at D.C. Everest Senior High School is one that I will appreciate for the rest of my life. They are very adamant at ensuring that they provide the best resources for students to start building their life after high school, whether it be further education, the work force, or even serving in the military. Overall, the teachers and faculty members are very supportive of students and try their best to create a safe and warm environment for us. They also offer a multitude or courses for students to choose from, extracurricular activities, and clubs in order to help us explore our interests and passions. One thing that the school could work on is the culture within the students. I am aware that some students are the way they are, but even with our schools movement towards creating a safe place for mental health, there is still more that can be done. Sophomore: I like going to school events like dances and Student Council activities. I think that the classes here are also very interesting. I think that some classes like Personal Finance should become a thing in other schools so other teens can properly learn how to manage money. At Northland, we are all supposed to be a family, but I do not always feel like I am treated like family here, that is the only thing I do not like about Northland. Sophomore: I really like the different groups that we have and all of the clubs that are run. Most of the teachers are very educated in what they teach and try to make learning interesting. There is a lot of exclusion and grouping that goes on in the student body. And there is a lot of favoritism with the high school staff. Parent: Mountain Bay Elementary was an amazing educational experience! It wasn't one thing, it was the whole. The friendly and Knowledgeable office staff to the cleanliness the janitorial staff accomplished! A principal that can never be matched in kindness and devotion!The teachers gave kids, each kid what they needed. Their support and care was more than I expected! The Librarian is a book and Kid fan equally! The Art teacher does very progressive and creative with the kids. The Music teacher makes all things fun! The gym teacher was just as energetic as the kids. Although we have moved, Ms. Krueger and Mrs. Heilmeire are still my daughters favorites! The facility does not disappoint! It's a beautiful school! Senior: The school is new and rather small, which makes available technology harder but still taught well. The school does not have a hot lunch system, however fundraiser hot lunches are available multiple times a week, with food available in the office at all times during the day. The school is Lutheran, with the majority of students coming from Lutheran elementary and middle schools. However, students are welcome from all over, and we have some students who have transferred from public schools. I enjoy the smaller school experience and the one-on-one learning and help from teachers. I also enjoy knowing everyone at my school. A bonus is the easy ability to play sports you love, without the stress of trying out. If I would change anything, I would make the dress code a bit easier, meaning hair color and piercings are less restricted but still appropriate for classes.... Read 8 reviews

Senior: The Marathon School District has excellent resources for helping students learn. My time with them has been a unique experience for me. I started out in Special Ed. and was able to be dismissed from their services by the time I was a sophomore; this was only possible for me because of the wonderful adaptive programs they have, not only for students in my situation, hyperactive and diagnosed with ADHD but for those with more physical limitations. The teaching staff is wonderful and work their hardest to make sure each and every student succeeds; if a student is struggling, they will do their very best to make sure the student has the resources available to succeed.... Junior: What I really like about Mosinee High School is that we are all one group no matter what grade. Our school had grown so much. We have new teachers every year. We are used to change sometimes that bad but we are used to many ways of teaching. We are always striving to do our best we can do. Such as ACT champs although my class does not know yet if we are ACT champs, but their is many grades before that have been champs 2yrs in a row we were ACT champs.
