Saint Joseph High School
- Private School
- IRONTON, OH
- Rating 3.05 out of 5 21 reviews
Senior: I have attended Saint Joseph High School my entire life. I loved the small and close-nit family community. I was able to have a close relationship with my teachers who were always willing to put in extra hours to ensure my success. The staff and parent involvement is truly what held the school together and what kept the school running so smoothly. The emphasis that was placed on God and Catholic morals was truly inspiring and made me the steadfast Catholic that I am today. The athletics and coaches at Saint Joseph have been a huge part of my life. I played multiple sports throughout high school, and my coaches and teammates made those seasons memorable. The school building could benefit greatly from needed renovations. The computer lab and class rooms still use light projectors, which are seriously outdated. I think bringing in some new technology, like smart boards or chrome books, would enhance the learning experience for the future students...

Dawson-Bryant High School
- Dawson-Bryant Local School District, OH
- Rating 3.45 out of 5 11 reviews
Senior: Dawson-Bryant has a good support system, the teachers really help the students to succeed. There are a lot of clubs and sports to get involved with. There are many activities the school participates in like assemblies and fundraisers. Dawson-Bryant also has opportunities to earn college credit through AP and dual credit through Ohio University. One thing the school could improve is the restrooms, working stall doors would be nice. Also, there are also plenty of resturants that surround the school which makes a good place to visit after school...

Symmes Valley High School
- Symmes Valley Local School District, OH
- Rating 3.92 out of 5 26 reviews
Senior: I have loved going to Symmes Valley High School. It is a small school, only graduating about 60 students per grade. Being in a small school, everybody knows everybody. Personally, I like the fact that I know pretty much everyone that I go to school with. A great advantage of attending Symmes Valley is that the teachers genuinely care about the students. Every teacher that holds a position at the school would do absolutely anything they could to make sure the students have the best high school experience possible. Symmes Valley is where I met some of my best friends and where I played my favorite sport for six years. There is nothing like going to a little school in the middle of nowhere. There is really a sense of family at Symmes Valley. During the COVID-19 pandemic, the staff has done everything in their power to give a sense of normalcy to each student. I have loved my time at Symmes Valley High School, and given the chance, I would never choose another high school to attend...

Rock Hill Senior High School
- Rock Hill Local School District, OH
- Rating 3.91 out of 5 46 reviews
Senior: In my perspective, I'm very committed to my school and showing school spirit. I like how our school gets involved with anything and everything they can to make it fun such as spirit week, talent show, pep rally's, etc. Something I would change is maybe keeping things up in the hallways for the students to have positivity every morning like putting quotes in our bathrooms, sticky notes for the students to take off and read, and just anything that would make their day or give them more self-confidence if they need it!...

Ironton High School
- Ironton City School District, OH
- Rating 3.65 out of 5 49 reviews
Senior: Ironton High School is very family orientated and the community supports each other throughout and everyday basis. Whether it’s coming to sporting events, plays, or even academic assemblies, everyone is always there. One thing I’d like to see change about Ironton High is to make it more diverse. I feel like living in a small town there’s not going to be much diversity throughout the area, but I think we should try our hardest to welcome more cultures and ethnicities. Overall, I believe Ironton High has helped me grow as a young women and the classes have prepared me for college life in the future...

Chesapeake High School
- Chesapeake Union Exempted Village School District, OH
- Rating 3.07 out of 5 74 reviews
Senior: My experience at Chesapeake High school has been good overall. I like that it is a small school so i know just about everyone here, faculty and students. I enjoy how some of the teachers go out of their way to make sure that the problems we have get solved and how involved they are with out lives. There are some things I would change though. Some of the faculty are definitely worse than others and they are the type to overload you with work and just want you to get it done and don't really care about if you actually learn. Also, some of the students aren't really nice. Some of them are just downright mean. But I honestly love my school. The little community we have is amazing...
