Arizona College Prep Academy (ACPA)
- Public School
- Tucson, AZ
Alum: I am an ACPA alumni. I have never met a more dedicated group of teachers and staff who are always willing to go above and beyond for each individual student. During my time at ACPA I was introduced to a way of learning that allowed me to truly connect the information I was receiving with my own interests, talents, and abilities. The teachers challenged me in ways I hadn't experienced at previous schools and their encouragement and guidance taught me how to approach the world with confidence and curiosity. The best part about ACPA is the sense of community it instills in you. We were encouraged to know everyone in our school, not just our class, and to have conversations that would foster appreciation for each individual and their experiences. I would and do recommend this school to everyone, as it made a rebellious, know-it-all like me say, "This is what it's about."

Parker High School
- Parker Unified School District, AZ
Junior: So far, Parker High School has given me many experiences, mostly good ones, and I'm proud to say I enjoy attending this school. Sure it may be a bit smaller than some highschools, and there are a few improvements that need to be done here, but overall it is a great school. One thing I would like to see change here is mostly the motivation of some students here. The teachers are most definitely not the reason for this; they offer help and they do what they can to teach students what they need to know. I have seen a few students who prefer to go on their phones than pay attention in class, yet they blame the teacher for their low grade. Then again, I'm sure there are many other schools that do have at least one student who is like that. Besides that, I do think Parker High School might be a nice school to attend (if you can handle the heat when it's not winter).
