Alum: I enjoyed the close knit environment and the friends made that are more like family to me. The teachers are very hands on and care deeply about your success in the classroom and in the future, wherever that might be. Senior: I have had the best high school experience here. Living in a small area, I have been able to go through most of my school with the same people over the years. From the Academy all the way to the High School. I have grown so much these past few years and found a new voice that I didn't even know I had. The teachers are all so helpful and have guided me so much and helped mold me into who I am. While in my senior year I have received so many invitations from colleges from all over the United States. I was so exited to check the mail every day to see which college would be trying to get me next. I have committed to Young Harris College to further my education in Graphic Design and Media presentation. I am so excited to be starting there in the fall. Jefferson County High Schools faculty and staff have given me such confidence that I know when I get on that college campus in the fall I am going to exceed in whatever I do. I will miss my teachers and staff...
