Senior: Although transferring from a 4 class per semester schedule to a 7 class per year schedule was very rough on my mental and emotional health, I don’t think I would have enjoyed my junior year without Hendersonville’s community. There’s many great things about the traditions at this school as well as fun/loving teachers who you can easily click with once you get settled in. Niche User: During my early adolescent school years attending the Jackson County school system I had a very pleasant experience, so it was only natural that I continued my highschool years there. The teachers were very attentive in the growth of my education, of which I was very fortunate. I remember very fondly the first time I was greated by the massive lobby of Smoky Mountian High, granted I was a bit scared coming from a much smaller school I found my place within those infamous halls. As I mentioned before the teachers were always understanding and ready to accomadate any need I had regarding the school work they assigned. Every step of my journey through that school was guided by amazing people who I had the pleasure of calling my educators moreover I hope they are still molding young minds like they did mine. Alum: This school has amazing teachers and a school counselor who are committed to teaching and improving our lives in any way possible. The principal can speak three languages: spanish, German, and english. He is a very down to earth and thoughtful guy who cares deeply about the students.
