Alum: My experience at SSHS was great! I was involved in cheerleading, academic honor societies, and school clubs, which made my experience fun and fulfilling. Somethings I would like to see change would have to be embracing other cultures and school dress code policy. SSHS is a predominately white school. With that being said, I feel that the teachers and administration could still learn to embrace different cultures from all around the world. I feel that there is not enough inclusion of all people. As far as dress code, I feel that it is WAY too strict. I understand that there needs to be a dress code in place, but it seems as though dress code mainly applies to the girls rather than girls and boys. We shouldn’t only be teaching our young women to cover up. We should as be teaching the young men to control themselves.

Senior: I enjoy the feeling of knowing everyone and knowing that everyone there cares about my future and how I do in school. We don't offer many courses that many larger schools do have, which is understandable but also something I wish could change.

Alum: Miller Grove is like a big family! The people are down to earth and teachers were always there for you when you needed them. In my opinion, it’s one of the greatest high schools out there.
