Senior: North Bay Haven is, in every sense of the word, a very college-oriented school. Teachers, administration, and staff in general are all dedicated to the craft of education, and want to see the best come out every student, and work to see that happen. However, there’s obviously a sense of favoritism between some teachers and students, which can be frustrating whenever you’re trying to get help from the teacher only to be superseded by another student whom a certain teacher might like. Additionally, the school motto “High Expectations, High Achievement” rings true in everything that happens in the school, even to a point where it gets excessive. The relationship between other students gets very, very competitive, and sometimes toxic, as students vie with one another for spots on the class rank, or scholarships. Oh in all, in my 11 years going to North Bay Haven, I have learned how to be a better scholar, a better person, and most importantly a better human...

Senior: I liked attending Port St Joe high school. It is definitely a sport oriented school so if you are an athlete you will love it. We went through a hurricane so the school had lots a damage which took a while to fix. The school is in a small, coastal town so that is definitely an added bonus.
