Nixon-Smiley High School
- Nixon-Smiley Consolidated Independent School District, TX
- Rating 3.17 out of 5 12 reviews
Junior: The school needs to be more open to new things and actually push for those things to happen, instead of giving up or having no faith in the kids. About half of the teachers don't want to be there, and therefore don't teach their students well. Some teachers, though, are fantastic. They want to raise the kids up to a new level and do everything they can for the kids, but the administration limits their involvement. Some of that has to do with American culture, but some of it is just plain cowardice.

Senior: Gonzales High School is a very loving High School. The teachers care about their student's well being and education. There are many opportunities to serve in the community and make an impact in the community. The work is challenging in a good way, and teachers are happy to help you wherever you are struggling. I love this school, and I feel blessed to have attended here.
