Parent: This school has been more than I hoped for and my expectations were pretty high coming from an outstanding school. They offer numerous opportunities to get to know other members of the community from a parent standpoint and everyone has been very welcoming. My kids are thrilled and thriving. They love the teachers, and have many avenues in which to participate. They can't wait to get to school! It has easily been the highlight of our move.

Senior: I enjoyed going to GAHS. I enjoyed working on art and the opportunities my teachers gave me. I was able to double up my sophomore year and take algebra 2 and geometry. That allowed me to take precalculous, which is a senior math class, my junior year. I also took 2 college comp classes my junior and senior year of high school. I also got my art published into a book my senior year because of my art teacher. She helped us be the best we could be and allowed us to grow and create our own style of art. I truly love my school and will miss it when I'm gone.

Senior: My school has begun offering AP classes, along with dual credit classes. These classes better prepare us for college, more so than the regular classes. In my AP/ Comp.I & II class, our teacher takes advantage of every class period, and we are working hard every second. Giving us not only skills we will need to pass at the collegiate level, but also succeed in our future lives.
Also, my this class has incorporated Mock Trial into its curriculum. Mock Trial is such a pertinent piece in our education because it makes us answer the questions we ask. We look at a case and become a lawyer, that dissects information and manipulated it to show our side of the story.
Even though the school performs quite well when it comes to providing a challenging curriculum, problems presented to the school are not handled as they should.
Often students who play sports get away with cause trouble, solely because they are athletes.
