Shoshoni High School
1 Best Public High Schools in Fremont County

Junior: Shoshoni High School is working towards excellency as the staff, both new and current and soon to retire, develop new opportunities for their students including additional dual-credit courses, new club funding, and a new class providing students with the chance to attend a variety of career, college, and health fairs which is expected to be put into effect next year. My personal experience with the high school has been amazing as the staff is very willing to work with and provide the best for it's students. Although we lack cultural diversity, AP classes, and opportunities for advanced learners, it is a work in progress that I know the board and new principle are determined to make better.

Senior: I love the updated technology and the very low-key environment. Since it is a small school, you get to know everyone in your class and people of all grade levels. We have a great basketball team and trade classes, as well as many dual credit classes. Overall, really great school.

Lander Valley High School

Alum: I loved going to LVHS. It was a great High School. The teachers are pretty awesome. The only thing I would have liked to see different would be the class structure. One class did a at your own pace curriculum, and it was incredible. Much better for each student to learn what they need to at their pace. It would greatly enhance the student interaction.

Riverton High School
- Fremont County School District No. 25, WY
Senior: I liked the small population of my school because it meant more one on one learning in the classroom. My school also had an amazing band program along with a boys basketball team that won state last year! Many students get the opportunity to travel with clubs, sports, or classes along with fundraising to help them. The school also offers the Hathaway scholarship to students, it's a Wyoming exclusive that I'm very grateful to have.

Wyoming Indian High School
- Fremont County School District No. 14, WY
Senior: The past four years here have been amazing. The kids are great and so are the teachers. I was blessed to have the opportunity not only be a student here but also a athlete. The sports here are competitive and fun. I have been an honor roll student, academic all-state recipient and a member of the State Cross Country Champion Team. The facuilty has helped me become a mature young adult ready for what's next. I appreciated this school has had to offer for me. If there was one thing I would change is the student involvement. Our school is home to the Native Americans who grew up on the Wind River Indian Reservation. It has about 140 students this year and not a lot of student involvment. I think it was a fun four years here and I'm excited for college.

Parent: Our son is currently in the 2nd grade. He has been at the school for two years, and it has been a wonderful experience. The enthusiasm of the teachers, who are truly experts in the subjects they teach, is infectious. They consistently set high standards for all students at every stage of their academic career. This is a school that prioritizes academics and the students themselves; it is targeted to students with intellectual curiosity and a strong work ethic. We are very happy here!

Charlottesville Catholic School

Parent: Our family LOVES CCS! Our two boys went through CCS and are much better young men and students as a result. The overall environment at the Catholic School is exceptional. Academically, the students are encouraged, supported, and pushed to do their very best in the classroom. The teachers do an amazing job of reaching each student individually which translates into a trusting, caring, and successful school experience for the student, the parent(s), and also the teacher. In and out of the classroom the teachers and staff also do an extraordinary job of instilling discipline, self-respect and respect for others, thoughtfulness, and a sense of community and personal responsibility. Our boys continue to excel each and every year both as students and as young men in our community and I believe those valuable traits are a direct result of the foundation, mentorship, and guidance that they received as students at the Charlottesville Catholic School.
