Senior: I came to Darlington because I wanted to be in person and my current school was not offering in person education due to COVID. I feel that Darlington has prepared me for college. I love that I have met people that I would not know otherwise. The only drawback has been that I do not feel as involved on campus because I live in the next town from where my school is. I drive 40 minutes to school and back home each day. I have learned so much out of the classroom as an athlete on the basketball court and in track and field. I have learned how to work well with others and to lead and inspire my teammates. I am thankful for the opportunity to attend Darlington. Niche User: Pepperell Elementary is full of excitement and encouragement to learn and be the best one can be. PES had the most dedicated teachers, therefore we have the most dedicated and hardworking students. I would not want my children or grandchildren to go anywhere else. Senior: My overall experience with Rome High School has been a delight. There are so many opportunities that I have had the amazing chance to be a part of. They have a wide selection of career technical classes and that comes along with amazing CTSOs which some students call clubs. Through these clubs and the funding from my community, I have been able to attend and place national, state, and regional competitions. I have been able to travel to different states that I would have never thought of. Rome High has plenty of AP and honor classes that I am so grateful to have because they give me a challenge. The teachers are such wonderful people and they truly care about their students. I have made so many wonderful connections to some of the best teachers I have ever met. They always push me to be my best and to experience new things. While overall the school has plenty of amazing things, there are some things that I would like to be different. Senior: Model High is the best public school in our county. Our scores back this up. The best part about my experience is the teachers. They all care about us and go out of their way to ensure we succeed. Many teachers will even watch current and previous students play their sport. Just because they don't have that student anymore doesn't mean they stop caring about them. I would keep everything the same at this school. Senior: Since I have been at Armuchee High School, there has been a great change to the building's structure by constructing the new coliseum, where we host volleyball, basketball, and wrestling tournaments, and renovating the inside of the building with new floors, ceilings, bathroom stalls, and more which has improved students' experiences and involvement in school. Through the past years, athletics has improved through more regional and state champions where we are back-to-back champions in girls' and boys' cross-country and competition cheer in the past 3 years. Armuchee is known for having the highest test schools in Northwest Georgia for 1a schools which is possible thanks to the staff and teachers who work hard for the academic growth of their students. With all of the renovations coming along, Armuchee is planned to have a new field house and turf field in the next year to bring a new area where players can change and play without having the worry about the forecast and rescheduling.... Senior: The best part about my high school is that it is a tight knit community where lots of people show up to extra circular events to try and support the team. Another good thing is that the teachers try to push you to be the best version of yourself. The worst part about my high school is that we are a small school, so the resources are not always the best. Senior: Coosa High School is a good school. The building is only a few years old and looks great. The administrators are very friendly and helpful. If I ever need something I know who to go to. There are some areas for improvement, however. The school needs newer supplies and materials. A lot of books and materials are over a decade old and outdated. The school also needs to remodel the football stadium. The concession stands and press box need to be torn down and rebuilt. The school also needs to build a new track. Right now its just asphalt which can be detrimental to runners. I am a member of the band and love it but we are severely underfunded. We need new instruments and can't afford them. Our tubas were made in the late 1940s. They probably were made from world war II scrap metal.... Read 120 reviews
