Geibel allows students to engage in their community regularly and provides them with a safe environment. Teachers at Geibel go to great lengths to ensure that their students are learning and growing, and the students themselves are extremely supportive and welcoming. Senior: The best part was that the teachers and the staff at the school were very helpful and in every way they tried there best to help you. The school staff made sure that every student was safe and that the rules were followed. The school lunch had a variety of choices of food to choose from and they made sure to change the menu every now and then, they also made sure that they were balanced meals.The worst part was when a new student they don't give you like a map of the school to make it easier to move around. The changes that I would love to see are:students to be given a map of the inside of the school example the levels or floors so that they know where there classes are instead of being given just the room number and it would also make it easier for them to around... Senior: Lost half of my freshman year because of covid, came back to school sophomore year wearing masks, sitting at desks for lunch in school. Went online for awhile so I wouldn’t miss sports. Junior year it was better didn’t have to wear masks anymore, everything slowly went back to normal. Senior year was very good, made hoco court, won hoco queen. Had a good basketball season, made it to the first round of playoffs. Track season was also good, 3x county champs. Went to prom this year and had lots of fun.... Read 195 reviews

Senior: My experience with Connellsville Area Senior High School has been one of the best schooling experiences I could have asked for. Teachers, staff, and school board members have been pushing to create a better environment for everyone in the past few years. Just in the past year, an LGBTQ support and allies club was created with the support of a few students and staff to get it going. CAHS is full of teachers that want to see their students succeed and are there for them every step of the way. In my experience, they have also allowed for a wide variety of activities like recreational volleyball tournaments and beneficial academic activities such as reading competitions, which I was involved in. Connellsville Area High Senior School has decently large science and history class options available for students to take. I personally took quite a few science classes and finished them retaining a lot more knowledge than what I started with. So, in my personal opinion, CAHS is a very good school.... Read 189 reviews

Parent: As I only have 1 child attending here . She has attended for 1 year now and has had a great time. The teachers are very knowledgeable kind and use great unbiased material to eliminate any political interference in your child's learning. Texts book with no pictures. Workbooks sameway. May not look as good. But its less distraction for already distracted children. Can't say enough on how pleased I am . We moved from California area middle school due to bullying and indoctrination of my child to the point she would come home crying everyday and no matter what we did or who we talked to . We literally had to get police involved. So I am so glad to see a school district care more about the children they are teaching them trying to push thier ideology.... Read 1 review
