Senior: Since moving to Waterville, in second grade, teachers, students, friends, everyone has become family. Its a small town and community and everyone watches out for everyone. Growing up in a small school taught me many great attributes, like respect and honor, and now our school's motto is T.H.R.I.V.E- Trust, Honor, Respect, Integrity, Valor, and evolving excellence. All these attributes I had learned growing up here, is now a program, making sure every student in our K-12 school district learns these great qualities. The teachers spend one on one time with you if you need the help. Even if they have to help 4 or 5 kids, they make the time for all of them. Senior: Bridgeport High School is a school that I believe many kids around its county should take part in. At one point in my high school years, I had hit a wall. Depression had hit me in waves which had not only affected both my mental and physical health but also my academics. My outstanding grades fell drastically yet the teachers of Bridgeport High School helped me get back on my feet. They helped me when nobody else would and I’m very grateful for them. This school may have fun sports and extracurricular activities for students but its education is just as great. If anything, their main focus and goal is to help the students get through school with amazing grades. I enjoyed my experience at Bridgeport and I wouldn’t choose a different school. Alum: Grant Elementary is filled with passionate teachers who come to school everyday to encourage and teach their students, not only math and science but leadership and fun. There is a lot of help in the school for those in need, like bilingual and migrant programs and for students with special needs. Senior: My experience at Clovis Point Intermediate School was a successful one. The teachers are amazing teachers and role models. There is nothing I would change at that school because every day was a great experience and I loved all classes during my middle school years. Being a "coyote" member made me feel like I had a second home. I would truly recommend this school to students because at Clovis, you will have adventurous trips, have fun while learning, and never want to go home. Alum: Eastmont Junior High School is filled with many resources and people who will always be there with a smile whenever you come and ask a question. They have great counselors and paras who can help in education and mental issues. Great elective classes to chose from. The facility could have a bit of maintenance, mainly the bathrooms.
