North Bend Central Junior/Senior High School
- North Bend Central Public Schools, NE
- Rating 4.24 out of 5 33 reviews
Senior: As a student in the North Bend Central Public School district, they work hard to help students prepare and become successful. Teachers work with students to solve problems and improve their academic performance. The school has gone through updates in the recent years with a new gym, weight room, science wing and high school locker rooms. They have also updated the restrooms and office. Although the school does not offer AP classes, they do offer opportunities to take multiple dual credit courses through Peru State College. As a student, I was involved in many extracurricular activities such as FFA, FBLA, National Honors Society, NB club, One-Acts, Science Club, Spanish Club, and Student Council. I also participate in Volleyball, Basketball, Track, and Dance Team. I would like to see more from the staff regarding helping students decide on a future career and going on college visits. I would also like to see a change in the athletics coaching staff.

Senior: Fremont Senior High School has a positive environment and the staff are very welcoming. Teachers at Fremont Senior High School are flexible; they are flexible with the other staff and their students. The counselors at Fremont are very proactive with making sure their students high school experience is easygoing. We have a wide variety of courses to choose from. One class that I enjoyed taking the most was Introduction to Health Sciences. It is a very hands on class that gives the students an opportunity to practice skills that might be essential to their career. Every department does an amazing job of making sure their students are understanding the material. Within the last year of school, with going virtual, the teachers have showed how flexible they are with change. Students also played a role in my great experience at Fremont High.

Logan View Junior/Senior High School
- Logan View Public Schools, NE
- Rating 3.9 out of 5 21 reviews
Senior: At Logan View you get the opportunity for a very small student to teacher ratio. There are about 50 students per grade making it easy for teachers to be able to help students individually if needed. Even slightly larger towns usually have much higher numbers than this. The nearby city has a high school with over 300 students in one grade. The staff are also always so friendly and the content is so helpful. There is a lot of helpful classes to prepare you for careers and even college readiness information. Overall, it is a place that wants to help you to succeed if you are willing to put the work in.
