    Alum: North Desoto High School is a great learning environment and has a very warm atmosphere. I loved that the teachers would help you whenever you needed it and they never picked favorites. Also having counselors who want to help you pick you a perfect college and gain you more scholarships is amazing. Something I wish that they would change is the high dress code policy. I understand short skirts and tight pants being against the rules. However, why would someone go to detention for not having there ID? You would only forget it twice and then have to go to Saturday detention. What happened to parent warnings? Despite the low tolerance for dress code everything else was good. I would gladly tell anyone who wanted a good education to go this school. There is nothing better than the Griffins!

    Alum: Diversity is the best thing about it. Students who attend CATS are intersting and ambitious young people. I had an amazing time making friends. Some of the teachers are truly great, they are ready to go above and beyond to help students achieve their goals. On the other hand, there are some teachers who are really unkind and unhelpful. The principle and the student affairs departnment, as well as most of other saff including dorm parents is horrific. They are people who are having personal issues and are not healthy for school environment. Of course, there are exceptions. I personaly had a great dorm parent, and I wish other students can get the same experience.

    Junior: Although this is my first year at Stanley High School, i feel like i’ve been here forever. I love this school with everything in me. The teachers go out of their way to make sure that i understand what is going on in the classroom and outside of the classroom. SHS is more than a school, it’s a family. Sorry, but i can’t hide my Stanley Panther Pride. Go Panthers!!!!

    Senior: The small school atmosphere was helpful in that the class sizes were not over crowded. The school has a nice diversity of all backgrounds and for the most part, we are united and feel like a family. There is an excellent support system with the staff and parents as well. The balance between academics and athletics is top notch and we as a school succeed at both.

    Alum: I loved Mansfield! Growing up I had a horrible attitude because of my past with bullying, but when I got to Mansfield High I met amazing teachers who made me feel safe, cared for, and showed me that I don't have to be mean to others just because someone hurt me. I struggled at times because I never felt I was good enough and my procrastination killed me, but my teachers always helped me get back on track. Our Principal Mr. Clark was a very kind but strict man. He would always calmly listen to the issue and make a decision (punishment or not) based on how each party handled the situation. I was taught not to judge others because we all came from a background of struggle. Some of us didnt have money for school clothes or supplies, but the amazing faculty and staff at Mansfield High School would assist those who needed help. We became family and I was happy to see my class grow together.
