Gothenburg Secondary School
- Gothenburg Public Schools, NE
- Rating 3.67 out of 5 48 reviews
Senior: Gothenburg High School has very good teachers and they have worked hard to provide me with an excellent education. However, our school does not care for its students. Our school has always seemed to focus on its public appearance more than the feelings of its students. The staff members have always passed off bullying as something minor and have never given real punishment to those caught with drugs. Our school also does not always try to help kids who are struggling with school. The school is sports-focused as well and does not care as much for its fine arts programs.

Junior/Senior High at Sumner

Junior: I love how small it is. I had many opportunities to play sports and other activities. I would change the fact that the high school is constantly surrounded by middle school and elementary students.

Cozad High School
- Cozad Community Schools, NE
- Rating 3.5 out of 5 24 reviews
Senior: My school is amazing. It is a small rural school with 300 students grade 9-12. We are given so many opportunities to get involved in a variety of clubs and organizations and can easily be a three-sport athlete. The classes are small so the student/teacher ratio is very good. With have the chance to become very close to all of our teachers and administrators. The only concern I have about my school is that there is a limited number of classes offered. Since the staff is small, the options are limited. However, our school and community make up for this short fall by offering opportunities in different ways.

Senior: I have enjoyed going to school here because of the culture. It is one you can not find anywhere else; from the classroom to sports and activities, everyone is supportive of each other. The teachers provide help on homework and counseling too.

Overton High School
- Overton Public Schools, NE
- Rating 3.54 out of 5 13 reviews
Senior: Overton is a great school to start your kids in and see them graduate from. Overton has a great academic and activities board and there's always something that you have available to take or would be intersting in!

Maxwell High School
- Maxwell Public Schools, NE
- Rating 4.5 out of 5 4 reviews
Senior: I love that Maxwell is a smaller school so you can get more help and understand assignments better. With all your teachers, they are more then willing to help you succeed, then to fail. I haven't had a time I didn't feel uncomfortable or dumb, when asking questions. Most students are respectful and very friendly, well unless its wrestling season. Athletic coaches are teachers in the school, so you get to not only see them in class but also on the court or field. I've had a great almost 4 years and recommend this school to some who likes more of a smaller but friendly atmosphere.
