Senior: I came to Highland Home High School when I was in the forth grade. Teachers have always went above and beyond for me during my time here. They pushed me to do my absolute best in everything I do and to do it with purpose. On the days I was feeling down and out my teachers took time to ask me if I was okay and if I needed to talk. Over the years Highland Home High School has became much more than a school to me. I have grown to love the families here, principles, fellow students and teachers. I plan to send my kids here one day as well because I know they will have the best opportunities and teachers who will care for them as one of there own. There are so many exceptional things about Highland Home High School but there are some things Highland Home needs to improve such as parking. Some students have to park off campus at the nearby store and church. Highland Home High School needs more parking for their students.... Read 40 reviews

Senior: Brantley High School is a place where I've grown into the person I am today. Without this school I would not be the same person, but that would be because of the people I met and began to grow strong, everlasting relationships with. The schools education is on the proper track of preparation for college.Students today are taught to pack their schedules so that they can have enough high school credits to graduate. Students need extracurricular activities in order to make a proper resume. Most schools are behind on their lesson plans due to reasons that cannot be worked around. I believe that Brantley, or at least some of the teachers at Brantley, like to challenge the students to not only learn, but to enjoy learning. Overall, I cannot complain, but I'm looking forward to graduating and seeing what the world outside of Brantley has in store for me!... Read 63 reviews

Senior: Hello, I am a student at Luverne High School. Luverne High School is the best school in Crenshaw County, Alabama. We have an amazing faculty and our students strive for the best in academics, clubs, and sports. We are known for our determination to achieve our goals. Students are respectful, disciplined, and grateful for our school. The teachers do their absolute best to help us prepare for college. Every student is in almost every club or sport that we have. This year, our band has gotten a superior rating at all of the band competitions. Two years ago, a girl from the track team won in our state. Now, she is trying to win this year. Junior: I have been attending Crenshaw Christian Academy since I was 9 months old. It has been my home away from home. I am now a junior in high school. It has been a very good experience for me. There have been a lot of advantages such as: small classrooms, one on one time with teachers, and everyone feeling like family.
