Senior: Buckeye Central High School is more than just a school. Here you are connected with your classmates and teachers as if they are all family. I never go a day without feeling cared for and appreciated because of how helpful and amazing all the people here are. Our teachers are always willing to help you accomplish whatever it is that you want to. For example, this year I wanted to start Hometown Hero banners for our community and my teaches never hesitated to let me do it and to help me with it. Even though there is not a lot of diversity in a small town, I would not trade going to Buckeye Central for anything. I have been pushed to grow both academically and as a person each and every day. At all of my basketball games the stands are always full of staff, students, and community members because of the amazing support we have here. I absolutely love Buckeye Central and it will forever have a special place in my heart...Read 21 Reviews

Parent: My son is in third grade at St. Bart's. We moved from an independent Catholic school and the change in his self-confidence was obvious right away. Class size is small, my son has a homeroom teacher and additional teachers for Spanish, Music, PE, library and computer lab. Although we don't need extra help in the classroom, I know resources are available for kids who have different challenges. Extracurriculars are provided through CYO or private companies and include chess, sports, science, robotics. The school body is small and teachers know all the kids by name. Recess is well supervised, and aftercare is fun. Hot lunch is catered and the caterer offers reasonably balanced meals. Uniform is easy, no jacket for the little guys in lower school! We'd love to see more after school activities being offered to the kids...Read 28 Reviews

Senior: I have gone to Wynford Since Kindergarden, and can safely say it is a decent school. I was fortunate enough to have an incredibly intelligent and helpful English teacher, who I learned multiple essay writing skills from. The school is relatively clean, with teachers who do well at following state curriculum in order to teach what they are required to teach. I felt as though the teachers and staff could've shown more care for the students and their lives behind school. Although I am decently prepared for college, more information about colleges, future careers, scholarship help, and occupations would've been appreciated...Read 29 Reviews

Senior: Colonel Crawford is an all around exceptional school. I would recommend someone going to Colonel Crawford any day. It’s a small, rural high school, but it provides more than adequate connection amongst teachers and students. I give CCHS a 4/5 stars, because there’s always room for improvement in life!...Read 64 Reviews

Junior: I have always gone to Mapleton and it is a great school! It is a very rural school with a lot of farmers and down home people. If you love knowing everyone in your school, then this is the school for you! All the students, teachers, and staff are great and you honestly know everyone by first name. But, if you like a lot of diversity and clubs/organizations you might want to keep moving. Being in small town America, the school lacks many minority groups. Also, with it being such a small school it is hard to fund many organizations and sports. The football team is definitely favored more over every other sport offered even though we are division 7 and terrible... But, overall, I think this school is a great place to go!...Read 68 Reviews

Senior: Crestline High School is a very small school which means teachers can focus on the students more than your average school. This leaves more time for questions and examples to be taught in class time. One thing I would like to see different is the way students treat each other. Instead of being disrespectful, we should be trying to help each other in school work or in problems in their own lives. We’re a very close school. After all, our motto is; “ One School, One Goal, One Family.”...Read 23 Reviews

Parent: My kids have been attending Basis since before the pandemic, and we are so impressed! Rich academic curriculum, good inclusion of the arts, excellent opportunity for differentiation based on student needs. The teachers are dedicated and so are the parents to the kids' success. While the administration has been bumpy as the school has gotten established (only 5 years old), they earned their stripes during the pandemic. Organized, safety-focused and diligent about communication. We supplement school with sports leagues and scouting outside of school, which many parents do. Easy to do given the extensive choice you have in the DC area. Also appreciate the international study body with impressively bright students from all over the world. A real meritocracy, unlike other private schools that admit based on VIP status or connections/donations. In the next few years, this school will only continue to advance its place in the rankings...Read 43 Reviews

Parent: Cohesiveness of faculty is what earns Spire 5 stars! Coaches to teachers, counselors to AT, staff is well oiled machine. Being from Canada pandemic has limited travel but Spire have been excellent communicators (SM, email, zoom, reports, texts, live streams). We know more about school at Spire 4hrs away than when our son attended school 10mins from home. ...8 per class. Every teacher has reached out once in the first 8wks & several times since. Our son wanted an alternate science, Spire obliged with online course + local teacher. Athletic facilities unparalleled. Coaches push & challenge, but not negatively. Easily accessible & approachable. Sport science +++Food healthy & plentiful (neg of other schools). Dorms safe & well supervised. Spire runs like college & our son should have easy transition upon graduation.Although senior year to come, staff already helping choose college that is proper fit for sport & academics. Spire combines school and passion & succeeds at both.Read 5 Reviews
