Lathrop High School
1 Best Public High Schools in Clinton County
- Lathrop R-II School District, MO
Senior: My experience at Lathrop High School has been wonderful. I made friends I never thought I would have, succeeded in several sports and supported by all of my coaches, and I felt involved in the entire school. The only thing that might need changing is the school, as a whole, being more open-minded and offering more chances to students with higher classes.

Parent: Norfolk Academy provided an extraordinary educational journey for my two children, fueling their curiosity and inspiring them to explore new avenues that they might not have discovered without the incredible teachers and coaches at this school. My oldest child, who came in sixth grade, now studies engineering at an Ivy League university; he particularly loved the robotics team, as well as soccer, swimming, and crew teams. My youngest child, who is a senior at NA, came in first grade, and she has developed a passion for medicine and health, largely through the school's Global Health Fellows program and the Medical Scholars program.

Parkview Elementary School

- Cameron R-I School District, MO
- PK, K-2
Parent: I love Parkview because they actually challenge my child to challenge herself, even though she has the occasional piece of homework. I have never had an issue they couldn't resolve quickly, typically with just a phone call or a message to her teacher.

Cameron High School
2 Best Public High Schools in Clinton County
- Cameron R-I School District, MO
Senior: I have spent the last four years of my high school career at Cameron High School and am currently on track to graduate this year. This school has undergone major changes over the past couple of years from faculty to administrative staff to rules and we are still striving to build upon and improve ourselves. In this school year especially, discipline and rules have been enforced and the administrative staff has acted quickly and effectively. The faculty is passionate about their fields and strive to help their students reach their potential. The lack of diversity within the school district will continue to improve as Cameron grows in population and I look forward to the future of this district.

Plattsburg High School
3 Best Public High Schools in Clinton County
- Clinton County R-III School District, MO
High School Senior: My experience at school is pretty good. i have never been one to go to football games or dances, but I am very involved and happy that my school provides good programs like Science Olympiad. Our team always does well but not much appreciation is received from the rest of the school. Athletics receive way too much funding and attention, especially when our chemistry room is ancient and our books are falling apart for some classes. It is unique only due to the people who attend high school. In my opinion, high school is pretty much the same everywhere, and individuals determine how good the school is. At our school, one student went to a World Championship for model airplanes (Me), another student is one in 30 in the nation to be a United States Senate Page, and another student went to the FFA National Convention for the talent competition and received 5th place. Even though the school does not offer very much, you can always find something outside of school, which might be more memorable anyway.
