Senior: My favorite thing about Seven Rivers is the academically rigorous courses it provides. On top of that, the teachers who teach these courses care very deeply about their students. Teachers are always willing to help, even when it is outside of their schedule or inconvenient. Seven Rivers also provides adequate tools to have success in other areas of high school. I am a member of NHS and the SGA president. Seven Rivers has given me the opportunity to adequately serve the student body on NHS and SGA while still maintaining a 4.0 GPA with all honors and AP classes while also playing and excelling in three varsity sports (football, soccer, track and field).... Middle School Student: I really have enjoyed Citrus Springs Middle School as a student , all of the teachers have treated me with respect. The education opportunities are amazing. You can take higher level classes such as algebra or geometry and ect. The only thing I find negative about this school is the amount of violence, there are many physical fights. Middle School Student: this school is amazing. They treat everyone great, the Teachers make sure everyone is on task and are with them. The Admins listen to what you need and when they can, solve it immediately. The food is good, but it’s not terrible. The after school activities are great and the band especially is the best out of the electives. Classes are taught excellent, and don’t make you feel bored or neglect your learning. Senior: I have been going to citrus for all 4 years of high school. Overall I would say a pretty decent school but there was a few things that could have been handed differently. I like most of the teachers there and they do a good job to make sure the students have what they need to succeed. They really make sure to give seniors enough resources that they need to graduate. Including, having where people can give donations to help seniors get their caps and gowns. Which I think it's amazing for those who can't afford it. They make sure that the students know they are on their side and they try to help out with whatever situation that be. Whether removing you from a certain teacher that's not beneficial to you or removing kids that do stuff to make you feel uncomfortable or unwanted. Most of the teacher I had go above and beyond to not only be just the teacher but form bonds with their students. Senior: One of the major things I love about Crystal River High is the programs offered such as the health academy and Ap Capstone. Currently I am in both, I am in the biomedical portion of the health academy and because of that I have been given so many great opportunities for schools and college credits. For example, because I am in bio med I had a chance to take the bio technical exam from the University of Florida. In the end I passed the test! However the only reason I passed was because my teacher was so good at providing study materials and references. Also my school offers the Ap capstone program! Parent: My son just completed the EC3 program at the school!! Omg I wish I sent all of my kids to this amazing school for the EC3 program. These teachers are so loving, patient and simply are just amazing. My son absolutely loved going to school, loved his teachers and learned so much!
