Galena High School
- Galena Unified School District, KS
Senior: Galena High School provides an amazing environment for students to learn. First of all, the teachers are very personable and are always willing to help any student with any questions they may have. Secondly, the school always provides teachers and staff with the best equipment possible to ensure the best education possible for students. Finally, Galena High School makes sure that their students are taken care of both at home, and on campus. There is one thing that I would love to see changed, however. I believe that our school needs to bring more attention to the dangers of underage drinking. There is a lot of underage drinking that goes on in our school. I believe this is because students are not aware of how severe the consequences of underage drinking are. If the school were to put more effort into educating students about the dangers, the percentage of students who are involved in underage drinking may decrease significantly.

Riverton High School
- Riverton Unified School District, KS
Senior: Riverton High School in the tiny little town of Riverton, Kansas is a great school. Sure, like any school there are bound to be bumps here and there. Riverton isn't lucky to be free from things like bullying and stereotyping, but what school ever is? I feel like at Riverton, with my small, senior class of forty-nine students, that we are lucky to have as little bullying and stereotyping as it is. At Riverton I feel like I can be who I am without being judged. Instead, I'm encouraged to embrace who I am. Riverton is also lucky enough to have some very amazing teachers who want to watch their students succeed and try every possible way to help us when we need it. There is honestly nothing I would want to change about Riverton. It may be a small school, but don't underestimate it. The students and faculty I have met in the last four years at Riverton High School are all big parts in creating who I am today and I'm really gonna miss them when I graduate in May.

Parent: Our son is currently in the 2nd grade. He has been at the school for two years, and it has been a wonderful experience. The enthusiasm of the teachers, who are truly experts in the subjects they teach, is infectious. They consistently set high standards for all students at every stage of their academic career. This is a school that prioritizes academics and the students themselves; it is targeted to students with intellectual curiosity and a strong work ethic. We are very happy here!

Baxter Springs High School
- Baxter Springs Unified School District, KS
Junior: I have been a student at Baxter Springs High School since May of 2017. For the short period of time I have been here o have overall had a good experience compared to other schools I have been to. I myself have recently been in the foster care system with KVC so I moved school many times. With most schools drugs and bad behaved kids. Here at Baxter that is not the case. The school here is very sufficient and clean. The school community is a good and safe place to be. Baxter Springs High School supports all activities that students are interesting in and encourage kids to do their best and do what they love. Which is the best type of school to be involved in.

Columbus High School
- Columbus Unified School District, KS
Senior: This school doesn't have much money. MOST of the teachers are very supportive and have your best interest in mind, however, some teachers I feel like only teach to be a coach.
The school doesn't have much to offer in terms of extra-curricular activities besides sports and band and choir, besides a few clubs. Sports are a big part of school and practically dictate your relationship with teachers that coach.
The school food is terrible. Most people bring their lunch of have someone deliver them lunch.
