Senior: I admire the resources State High has. Students are guided during college app season, given lessons on career planning, and college admissions counselors are constantly on campus. We offer a wide variety of career and technical courses for those interested in heading to the workforce as well. I would like to see some improvement with overall community. This school is huge, with over 2,000 students; it can be hard to connect to your peers when you don't know most of their names. Parent: Corl Street is a great school with top notch teachers in a fun learning environment. The new principal has been a great addition to the school's leadership team. The school is currently undergoing an extensive renovation and expansion, which will give the students and teachers more space and modern facilities to learn and teach in an even more enriching environment. Senior: I have been going to this school since I was in pre-school. As I have grown older and have now become a senior I have noticed some things about my school; the elementary programs are stronger than that of the high school, teachers are very easy to interact with and they try to help as much as they can, while it is kind of them they do tend to make things too easy, favoritism is played quite often, we have little to know recourses/facilities to do things, everyone knows everyone very well, and you feel personally known. Overall I love my school even through all the little things I am frustrated with. They provide a very firm Christian foundation and help to grow your faith in many ways, almost too many ways if thats possible.... Read 9 reviews

Alum: I went there for Elementary school years ago, and I very much enjoyed my time. The school was clean and new, children were cared for, and in general, I was very happy. I had a few issues with faculty members, however, I'm certain that if I had spoken up about them at the time, they could have been solved. Parent: My kids never complain about going to school, and rarely complain about their schoolwork. They've learned to use multimedia technology in ways they'll use throughout their lives. They have opportunities to explore topics of interest to them and to choose interesting and varied specials courses. CLC provides a socially supportive atmosphere in which teachers know the students well and students from all grades interact. Niche User: I attended this school my junior year of high school. I was accepted with open arms. I would recommend anyone to attend if you have a chance. I only had a hard time getting there each morning cause I drove myself 45 minutes to get there in the morning and come home after school. This school helped me become a better person and improve my life spiritually. The teachers here are amazing and care about all the students. The administration is really good and well managed. It is very small but so worth it. If I lived closer I would have attended my senior year too and previous years of my high school life. It is located in a good location and is safe for students. This school is a lot like a family and I am still connected to it and stay in touch with many of my friends that still attend. Niche User: The staff is very friendly and the students are very kind to one another. I feel like the auditorium/cafeteria/gymnasium is kind of cramped for classes having PE class because when it overlaps with kid's lunches there isn't nearly enough room for the kids to release their energy. The nature around the school is very pretty and the playground is a nice outlet for the students to release some energy. Senior: Coming from a background in homeschooling, I was uncertain of how I would fit in at Saint Joe's. The teachers were understanding and welcoming, which allowed for a smooth transition regarding the workload. The sports and extracurriculars allowed me to engage in the student body and learn life skills that I will carry with me throughout my life. Last year, I discovered my passion for business and was enthusiastically aided by excellent teachers who wanted to help me develop my skills through specific clubs and specialized classes. However, no school is without flaws, and during my first two years, the school's administration was very disorganized and lacked sound leadership. After an abrupt change in leadership, the school immediately shifted toward a more organized and assertive culture. This demonstrates that Saint Joe's not only adapts to change but embraces it and utilizes its resources to provide a comfortable, yet professional environment that motivates students to flourish....
