Senior: I'd say that my experience has been unique from the average high schooler going through Eastland. So I was homeschooled from 1st-9th grade when I wanted to try getting into sports, but I needed to reach a minimum number of credit hours to do this. So there I was at Eastland, awkward, anxious, and not really understanding what was going on half the time. I didn't even know which door to go through. However, I've found the staff and students to all be extremely helpful, caring, and understanding. Our counselor in particular has helped me more than than words can describe. All the classes I've taken were great. Not every student has the same experience going through this school, but as a high school senior at Eastland, I've enjoyed my time there and I've met a lot of wonderful people, and the community and alumni are so involved and supportive. As for change, I hope we can see more people enter the community as our district is quite small and I'd like to see our school grow.... Read 29 reviews

High School Senior: I love this school! The teachers really do care about your education and giving you as many opportunities to be the best you can be! They are very friendly and intelligent teachers! The administration is really great too! They are excellent at everything they do, and they do whatever it takes to maintain the school! The students are all caring about each other, and a lot of people are like family to each other. There have been many favorite experiences at high school including FBLA State, Team Spirit, Prom, and many others! I would choose this school again if I could do it all over because it has shaped me into becoming the student I am: an outgoing, fun, intelligent, positive, athletic, active, creative, leading, caring individual! Senior: What I liked about West Carroll is that they begin to prepare students for college as they begin their freshman year. Teachers show what college tests, note taking, homework, etc. will be like and will give tips to prepare the students. Teachers are also willing to help as much as they can in class, and even outside of class. An improvement that could be made in school would be to give more options for classes. We have a band, drama, choir, and Spanish class, but students would like there to be more opportunities for fun classes.... Read 44 reviews
