Senior: At Calhoun High School the teachers seem like family. Sometimes, they even are! Since my school is located in such a small county, I don’t only know the teachers through the school but through the community. Our school spirit is another great aspect! We have a pep band that really just amps up the spirit during games and pep rally’s as well!
One thing I’d like to improve is how students act towards another student. I tend to see hate. Which leads me to how great our students can be! Some are already trying to do improve our attitudes by putting positive quotes on the outside of the lockers and also writing positive comments on notecards that they put inside the lockers. I’ve received both and they make my day and help spread positivity.

Sophomore: Teachers are very caring and supportive and will help you with whatever you may need. While being a teenager in school with family issues, it may put stress on a child and at this school the staff is very understanding.
