Mt. Hope High School
Alum: I graduated from Mt. Hope in 2015, Compared to one other high school I went to, Mt. Hope is pretty small (which isn't necessarily bad) and I enjoyed most of my teachers! The size of the school really gives a sense of community, which really compliments how the town is as well. For example, my guidance counselor from high school is now my landlord! See... small community!
I really wish there had been better (and mandatory) classes on finances and adulting. While I was attending I remember being disappointed in the range of classes. Compared to my other high school, which had a garage for kids to learn to work on cars, a preschool for the students to work at... Mt. Hope has nothing of the sorts to offer. The most I remember them having is some decent culinary classes, shop classes, and I think classes in electrical work.
