Sophomore: My overall experience at Ryle High has been pretty calm compared to middle school. I've always had an after-school event to look forward to. Which made the school year go by at a comfortable pace. I also loved the execution of a RAP class in the middle of every day. It acted as a 30-minute study hall for those that needed it. Or a break period to chill. The one thing I didn’t like was the grading system. There were no percentages. Just numbers up to a 4 that every summative project was graded with. So, it was all about estimating your grade based on your range of numbers from 0-4. And to top it off, we were the first school in our district to play guinea pig for this system. Many of my fellow students would agree that this system makes it easier to just not do the work considered formative. Especially if our range is already a 4. A single 0 won’t affect our grades. Parent: This school was only open for a year before Covid. They have done a great job adapting to constantly changing conditions while still providing good academics and extracurricular activities. The neighborhood is quiet and safe and school is new with an open and sunny floorplan. Transition to home learning in 2020 was a bit rough, but they have bounced back, ensuring all students have access to chromebooks for any home learning days and have resources accessible to assist with any problems. This is a predominantly conservative area, so this more modern, open-minded school may be a bit of a culture shift from typical Kentucky schools, but in a very good way. My child really enjoyed her teachers and extracurricular activity coaches and leaders and was very happy and successful here.... Read 3 reviews

Senior: I over all love Conner and have had a good experience my high school years, even during the pandemic. Conner did a great job navigating the pandemic and adjusting to students needs as well as their capabilities. I love Conners efforts to create inclusive extracurricular activities as well. Conner also offers such a great selection of early college courses and carrier paths to ensure the students a positive future. The staff and teachers are all great teachers and hold their standards high to meet their students needs and expectations. What I would like to see change would be the lack of course guidance in the beginning years of high school. Not taking specific classes your freshman or sophomore year can limit your choices later on and that is not nearly said enough. Alum: Overall, St Henry District High School was the best thing that ever happened to me. It showed me the worst and the best parts of high school and taught me how to move on from mistakes and grow. The teachers were able to push me to new heights and show me what it meant to be a student who thrived for the best and worked for what they wanted. I would never look back at my high school experience and wish for something completely different or for different lessons to be learned. I would not be who I am today without the experiences that I received and the lessons I learnt. I would 1000% recommend St Henry District School to anyone who was even slightly considering it.... Middle School Student: Camp Ernst is a nice place to be. Students are allowed many choices in education. The food is good with five different main coarse options a day. Teachers care about students and many go above and beyond to meet the needs of the students. The Parent organization is very active. There is at least a dance a month and many options for after school activities for students. I feel safe at school and rarely see student issues with each other. Senior: Some schools place a lot of pressure on students when the district is very academics-focused. However, this is not the case for Walton-Verona. They place a focus on academics but guide you every step of the way, making your high school experience as laid-back and enjoyable as possible. While there is great motivation to perform well, students are rewarded and encouraged for their hard work. The teachers genuinely put effort into each and every kid, getting to know them and remember their name. While high school can be confusing and stressful, the teachers and staff are straight forward and willing to help. I have had great experiences with so many teachers and become very close to them; Walton-Verona is a very proud, tight-knit community. My only complaint would that be bullying is sometimes overlooked and there can be favoritism placed on students. This school district is overall great to be apart of.... Read 141 reviews
