Junior: Adrian is the best around. Their sports are played at a high level because of great coaching in every sport. The grades are taken seriously with every class, but you almost always have a chance to bring your grade back up, unless told otherwise. Senior: Hume High School has several good perks as well as some downfalls as a high school. Personally, I enjoyed the small town feel. Having a small class of only 10 allows for you to feel at home and get the best one-on-one experience. The downfall is the convenience due to how far away you are from major towns and stores. For example: the closest gas station is almost 15 minutes away. I have also experienced a bigger high school and an advantage of that was seeing how other schools were in comparison to Hume. Those in the Hume community are very involved within the school and the town as a whole is very family oriented which I find is an advantage to going to Hume. Which means unlike many other schools, Hume isn't as diverse. Many of the students are related, and the staff hardly changes. Which can be an advantage or disadvantaged for some. Senior: Rich Hill Highschool is really the epitome of a small-town school. Everyone knows everyone and it is pretty small. There are very few electives to choose from, although you can sign up to get vocational training in trades such as construction, welding, agriculture, or graphic design, in a neighboring town. There are a few amazing teachers who truly care for their students and want to see them excel in life. The teachers are really the only thing that elevates this school from average to very good.... Senior: There are a lot of opportunities for school spirit at my high school. Students like to get very involved in their activities which makes the dynamic of the school great! Our school is pretty old though, and we have several problems like leaking vents and mice. Our school isn't very diverse, but we do live in a small town, so that is to be expected.
