Senior: As a young kid I moved around from school to school every year until I began going to Fairhope schools in the 5th grade and have not moved around since. I have made it to the 12th grade in Fairhope High School and will be graduating here. Of all the schools I have been to, my interaction with teachers and my involvement in school activities have been unlike any other experience at any other school. At Fairhope High School you can expect to find friendly and supportive teachers, counselors who prepare you for the future, fun and inclusive activities and clubs, and an outstanding administration. Senior: I enjoy being at Bayside Academy. It is a small private school so it makes everyone feel like family. I have been attending Bayside Academy since Pre-K and both of my older brothers attended Bayside. Throughout the years I have been in and out of the private schooling system. In Kindergarten my father was unemployed so we lived in Foley, AL for a year. I attended a Catholic school called St. Benedict. In 8th grade, I was very serious about my ballet career and did online, virtual school through our public school system. I did this program 8th and 9th grade and found myself longing to be back in Bayside. I missed my friends, the environment, the structure of the school, and being taught by teachers, rather than teaching myself. Just like any school, Bayside has issues with its administration but they are in the process of repairment. The math department needs a lot of work as well. Alum: My experience at Daphne High School was a wonderful one! I was the 3rd in my family to go through the school, but I never felt like I was compared to my sisters. My teachers & administrators were wonderful at growing my unique & quirky personality into one that held several leadership roles in many organizations, clubs, & student government throughout my 4 years. The teachers were also determined to make sure that all of their students succeeded in the classroom. Whenever I was struggling with a particular subject, I only had to ask the teacher for help. They were always willing to provide additional help before or after school or during their planning period. But besides the classroom, the teachers, administrators, and especially the students, would support their classmates in extra-curricular activities of the school. Senior: Spanish Fort High School is one of the most fastest growing schools in Baldwin County, Alabama. The teachers are great, administration strives daily to make our school one of the best in the state. Our football, volleyball and baseball programs have won several state championships. Our campus and facilities are top-notch. My experience in the Spanish Fort school system has been a memorable one indeed! Senior: As someone who has been homeschooled and attended online schools throughout my student career, changing to a brick-and-mortar school seemed intimidating at first. However, Bayshore Christian School welcomed me as if I had been a part of the school since kindergarten. Bayshore encompasses the love of Christ, accepting and kind toward everyone who enters the school doors. The classical style of learning Bayshore offers is incredibly helpful when it comes to personal growth and educational excellence.
