Senior: Throughout my four years at Mainland, I was lucky to form healthy relationships with my peers, teammates and teachers. Mainland strives off of their staff, some of the teachers in the building are truly the best people to be put in a school. There is not many bad things I can share about my experience at Mainland. Although, as a student who struggled in certain subjects and test taking, there were not many resources offered to help me. I believe if Mainland prioritized their students slightly more, the school would excel. Senior: Overall a good experience! They offer a wide selection of classes as well as extracurriculars. The teachers are overall good, many are passionate about what they teach. There are pretty good mental health resources like the Teen Center for those who need it. I would like it if there were more resources for college, at times there was important information about deadlines and stuff that were not communicated to me. Parent: My son and through him, I had a wonderful experience for 4 years at Holy Spirit. He had challanging classes. A diverse set of friends. Was a 2 sport star athlete, winning 3 state titles, and multiple student athlete awards. He also was heavily involved in the music department. Participating in band, playing the claranet, several school plays and is a member of the tri music society. CJ also as part of his school requirements earned over 100 community service hours. Senior: I personally had a great time during my 4-year experience at Absegami High School! It was at this school that I developed knowledge and skills that I will continue to carry with me through my adult life. The wide selection of classes and class levels allow one to choose what fits their needs best, and I felt as if the honors and AP courses at this school were taught well and provided a good challenge for the students. The school also provides phenomenal clubs and activities. As a 4-year band, marching band, concert band, and jazz band member, I found a community of my own that I felt belonging in. Those programs provided me with an outlet throughout high school and instilled work ethic and passion within me. Senior: My experience at Atlantic Christian School has been amazing! I love that I have been given the privilege to attend a Christian school where I get taught about Jesus Christ everyday. All of the teachers and staff truly love Jesus and their students, showing it by their actions. Being able to play sports at Atlantic Christian School and singing/playing piano for the worship team have been some of the best parts of my experiences there. I have made so many Godly friendships there and am truly grateful to be in a Christian environment as I enhance my education. Sophomore: Oakcrest High School is sometimes a stereotypical school but sometimes it gives us students opportunities that other schools do not have. Such as have dual Credit class for a local community college, having programs to enter our nearest universities with credits and an easier acceptance, Livingston, a type a chance to graduation year, zero period were students for two 30 minutes sessions either catch up on work with other teachers do a test they missed, free eating breakfast, or chilling at the library. One opportunity at our school that really shows that our district cares for students is the teen center. We have a teen venter at ourschool for mental health for students, they psychologist and students disposal at Atlantic care members at teen center to help students. These opportunities set Oakcrest high school apart from our other sister schools. But there are some downsides to Oakcrest which is the lack of mutual respect for students and teachers....
