Senior: I loved the community and family at st Cecilia’s. The small sized school is great for someone who wants to feel special and feel like they belong to a big family full of people who know each other. It has been a great way for me to encounter Christ because we have had many great teachers, nuns, and priests who know a lot about their faith and want to pass it on to the students. Senior: I'm a senior at Adams Central High School and I have had a great experience! The majority of Adams Central's student population is highly diversified and is involved in countless activities. I am no exception. Throughout my four years, I have been involved in anything from basketball, cross country, quiz bowl, marching, band, the spring musical... you name it; I've done it! Senior: I love that it's a small school and all of the teacher are supportive in all of the students. They offer many extracurricular activities for the students and support all of them. I've loved that I have been with the same 20 classmates my whole life who are now my best friends. The school is always well kept up with and never dirty. Senior: One thing I loved about Hastings High was the involvement in extracurriculars that was offered. There was something for everyone to participate in. There were many sports offered, different branches of the fine arts offered, and several other clubs. There was always something that a person could choose to be involved in. One thing I wish I could change would be the lack of school spirit our school had. For example, during spirit week the school would choose to not promote the different themes each day. This led to only about a quarter of students would actually participate. We also weren't allowed to cheer for our school at sporting events. Hastings High is also very segregated. The jocks and music kids never talked. While I think Hastings High had a lot to offer to be involved in, I wish they would have done better with promoting games and performances so different "sections" of the school could have mixed....
