Alum: Overall attending Cooperative Arts and Humanities High School was a very unique experience to say the least. Going in and being able to focus on one art and come in everyday and exercise your passion allowed for students to mix creativity with knowledge. It is commonly noted that the creative mind and academics mold very well together and with this school you get just that. However, this school is not all fun and games. You are held to a high standard and expected to excel in your art because the staff knows you can. When you've completed all four years, you must finish a capstone much like college. You must focus in on one issue that is important to you and find how it intersects with your unique artistic expression. By once again joining art with intelligence, Cooperative Arts High School sets up its students to enter the world with practical tools to shape creative minds and succeed in society.

Senior: I really do enjoy attending WAMS. Ive been there since my sixth grade year & this year has been my last. I have built relationships here with many teachers who all seem to care about us inside and outside of the classroom. It feels like a lot of them treat you like family. With COVID-19 affecting education, they've proved to be resourceful and understanding. I wish we were prepared before the college process. Many of us were surprised when senior year we had to scramble. I wish that it was more organized and that students would become more involved. 2 periods out of a day wouldn't hurt anyone! A REAL culture day and events that more bring students and their personalities, talents, culture together. Lastly, a couple of faculty in the office are rude & unapproachable like they don't want to be there. I am grateful for the opportunity to attend.
