Her 6th grade experience continued her positive academic trajectory, in tandem with developing communication and social-emotional skills. Freshman: CA is an incredible school with incredible people. Senior: All the teacher truly care to see success in all students. They are there to help and guild you. Everyone is there to look out for you. I find the counselors amazing as you can always go and talk to them about anything and they are there to help you no matter what. There is also a program known as SafeToTell that many students use and are able to report things they have seen, herd, or gone through and the staff then handles the situation keeping the informers identity hidden. Sports are an amazing way to get to know fellow classmates as well as release stress. Our school is pretty good with supporting our sport teams, it is a way to bond and cheer on fellow students while also representing our school. I hope to see a change in the meals. Due to understaffing meals where not as impressive as before, but hopefully that problem will be resolved next year. Senior: I have had a wonderful experience at Fairview High School and it has provided me with so many opportunities. The teachers and the community at Fairview are what make it so unique. Junior: It's not a bad school. There is pressure to do well academically, and lots of academic competition between certain students, but I think as you get to know yourself and what your limits are it doesn't matter. If you keep to the people you know stay out of trouble and will be friendly with you, you're pretty safe from harm. I've never had an issue with bullying myself, but I know other people who have. Parent: Our son is a graduating senior (2023) and we can't be happier at STEM. He was part of the first elementary class (grade 5) and has been at STEM ever since. This has allowed him to develop close friendships with peers, great relationships with teachers and staff, and a solid career path at age 17. Sophomore: My first two years at Cherry Creek High School have been very entertaining. The students and staff are very friendly, and will help you if you need to get around. My teachers have been a huge part of my academic life, for they have helped me get through the topic by really spending time with me and help me understand it. Sophomore: Honestly i really like my high school experience here at DSST Mont view, they offer so many college opportunities, there's so many clubs for so many interests, sports , diversity & inclusivity, advanced classes and prepare you overall for college. I'm black and Muslim growing up I've been to 8 different schools but I've never been as accepted by my community and have as many friends as i did in this school. The only 2 things I would say is the the school and system is very controlling considering we are going into college independent, and the school doesnt have many school lunch options that are vegetarian or halal. but overall i love it here if I had to switch i wouldn't!... Senior: Liberty is a fantastic school if you're looking for a really good education. It has an amazing faculty and course structure. It's small, so everyone knows everyone else. Everyone who goes to Liberty wants to be there, which is really nice because it creates an supportive and academic environment. The people at Liberty are really nice, and it's easy to make friends. It has a pretty good variety of classes, although most of the focus is on STEM. There isn't a big variety of art classes or languages, although there are some. The English classes at Liberty are fantastic, and possibly the best part of the whole school. However, if you want to do a lot of extra curriculars outside of school, Liberty is probably not the school for you. Time spent doing homework can range anywhere from one hour (on a good day) to four hours. It can be really hard to balance school life with just life. Liberty is a lot of work. Senior: I overall had a wonderful time at Fossil Ridge High School. All of the faculty are wonderful, especially the teachers. They help the experience become so much more personal, and all of them are very supportive and reach out to have a relationship with the students they teach. My only complaints is because the school is so big, counselors and deans don't have any relationship with the vast majority of students. The student culture in general is also extremely negative most of the time, although it's pretty easy to find nice friends since there's so many new people to meet. If I could give any advice to the administration, I would say to become more organized with communication, schedules, and cleanliness, and to reach out to try to have a relationship with the students. Senior: I moved to Niwot High School my senior year and with limitations from the pandemic, I couldn't have asked for a better experience. Niwot is a very competitive school that offers various classes (IB, AP, HONORS, and GenEd) that prepare you for the university route or career path. The teachers and staff are all nice, and they prioritize the success and learning of the students. The high school carries great energy through its athletics and academics. There are many opportunities to get involved in different clubs. I wouldn't consider myself as being the most artistic person but I was exposed to many art classes. Sophomore: The Vanguard School has an excellent array of academics, with general courses for struggling students and AP or college credit courses for students needing a challenge in any of the liberal arts. The advanced course teachers who have been at this school for a long time are the best college preparatory teachers I have seen. These teachers have helped me go from an A student in general courses to a A+ student almost all honors courses. There are not many clubs at the school because it is so small, but the clubs it has is bound to have something for everyone because they are led by a diverse group of students. That being said, the people at the school are generally respectful, despite the many backgrounds they come from.
