Senior: Mount Carmel is such an amazing school. The environment is extremely inclusive and loving. I know that I am truly cared about at the school. I receive a wonderful education, and I feel well prepared for college. Administration makes sure we have a great mix of fun and seriousness. The teachers truly care about our well-being and actively engage the class in learning. This year is a bit different because we cannot have the usual exciting event due to COVID; still, the faculty and student council tries to make school as enjoyable and fun as possible. Overall, I truly love and enjoy receiving my education at Mount Carmel Academy!

Senior: John Curtis Christian is a very family oriented school. All the faculty member will know who you are and form a relationship with you that makes you feel apart of their family. They each take their time and work with you to help you become a better student. It is Christ centered which I love and they are always there to help and support you with whatever you need. I love how interactive the teachers are with the students and they want to see you succeed in everything. There are so many clubs that just about everyone in the school participate in at least one club. When it comes to the athletic teams the student body is so supportive over all the sports. Although everyone at the school had their differences the school always comes to together as one big family and everyone had each other’s back. They offer many different college courses which is awesome. One thing that Curtis can improve is is by trying to make all the senior and junior classes dual enrollment classes.

Senior: I've been at Saint Paul's since 8th grade. After spending so much time there, I believe I can say this. Most if not all of the teachers there care that you learn and make sure you're doing okay. The classes are huge, usually a max from 20-30 people per class. There are many clubs and they encourage you to get involved in them, and I do to. The clubs are a great way to learn new things and meet new people. The academics there are also great! There are plenty of classes to choose from to if your interested in certain subjects. The have a great Engineering department, and I would recommend this school to anyone who is thinking of going.

Senior: Lutcher High School is a wonderful school to attend because it had many educational opportunities to advance and challenge students, but the social aspects of the high school need some work. Lutcher High School's students are always separated, and it ruins the high school experience altogether. If the school was more organized and student oriented, it would be the best. The counselors and administrators are amazing! They are always there to help the students and make sure that they are prepared for college. Students have opportunities to earn college credit while they are in high school. They even may attend the Universities for some classes. Lutcher High School is a good school for you!

Junior: When I first came to Riverside Academy in the eighth grade, I was afraid. I went to a small Catholic school for eight years, and it was such a drastic change for shy thirteen-year-old me. The first few days were tough, and I was nervous and scared. It was not long until Riverside Academy seemed like a second home to me, though. The students were so kind, and I made friends quickly. I felt safe and welcomed, and I even felt challenged in the classes. I joined the volleyball team, and I owe my boost of confidence to my teammates and coaches. Fast forward a few years, and I am now a junior. I still am challenged in my classes, and my teachers are very supportive. The athletic program is outstanding, and I never thought I would be into fitness. Riverside Academy taught me the benefits of working out and staying healthy. Academics and clubs are not the only great thing about Riverside Academy, however. Riverside has helped me build character and become the strong individual I am today.

Senior: I am currently a high school senior at Cabrini. My overall high school experience has been one I will cherish forever because of everything Cabrini has given and taught me. I have grown extremely close to my class of 90 and virtually know almost all of my school's community! I am extremely grateful for the rigorous curriculum Cabrini has provided me to prepare me well for college. I am also in many clubs such as student council, ambassadors, and NHS which have helped me enhance my leadership skills. Cabrini has given me so much and I could not imagine myself going anywhere else. The teachers are always incredibly helpful when in need of extra assistance and they are always fair.

Senior: If you are into STEM and are looking to improve your skills and get recognized by colleges, this is the place to be. The robotics team here at DHS is decorated with many achievements. (Unsurprisingly, the football team tends to get the most attention, but that's technically the case at almost every school). There is an entire building space dedicated to robotics members to work on new projects. Many students stay after school for several days a week from 2:30 to after 7 pm and sometimes late nights on the weekend too. This goes to show the amount of effort everyone puts into the team. In addition to being effective on the competition field, the team's determination to promote STEM education has placed it as a powerhouse in spreading the mission of FIRST, advocating #growFIRSTfaster!

Alum: My experience at Lakeshore High was very memorable. Not only did I have an amazing learning experience from my spectacular teachers, I was also very involved with school spirit and the community. After four years on the Varsity cheer team, I really understood the meaning of team work and coming together as a school. I experienced every single Friday night football game on the sidelines cheering on our two years, regular season undefeated football team. My overall favorite memory during my high school years was going to State finals for football my sophomore year. That was Lakeshore's football's first time making it to state. Even though we lost, the community and school all came together to support our boys. Lakeshore has also taught me to help out with the community while being in Lakeshore's Ambassador Club and National Honor's Society. If there is anything Lakeshore can improve on, it would be getting more involved with the other sports/extra curricular activities there.

Senior: I transferred to Rummel after my freshman year. Upon finishing my 8th grade year I visited. Rummel and liked it but my parents chose another school. Academically the school was not the right fit for me. Once the school year was over my parents enrolled me in Rummel. The school was everything I wanted in a high school. The teachers were insightful and the students were friendly. The atmosphere at Rummel was one where any male school wanting to learn how to lead should be here!

Senior: I had a great experience at De La Salle! I loved the culture at school and the people around me, it truly felt like i belonged and that everybody fit in and had their place. No one was left out and it felt like family. I felt like the work was challenging and has prepared me well for college. Our school had people of all different cultures, races, economic backgrounds, and social standings. They had every club you could think of and every sport, and if they did not then you could make one yourself with the help from an administrator. I have always felt I had all the resources I needed and have always felt safe and felt like I could ask for help or talk to anyone if I ever needed to.

Parent: The school has an excellent arts program, especially band. The administration is attentive and understanding to parent emails. Majority of teachers are top notch. The sports program is excellent, especially wrestling. I would recommend a student to attend this school. The food in the cafeteria needs more attention to detail. Seems like my kids complain they never get enough or what they want for choices. Maybe a new manager would fix that problem. Since Covid, the school seems to be doing a great job by offering a hybrid schedule to groups of students. My kids have enjoyed attending this school.

Freshman: I've been going to this school for 12/13 years now, and I'm in the 9th grade. This school has been an amazing experience! I have had fun making friends with the girls in my grade. The best part is the traditions, such as conge (faire), may crowning, and cache cache (hide and seek), that come with being a Sacred Heart student. If you plan on attending this school, it would be an amazing choice. The teachers are amazing! The classes aren't extremely difficult (some classes are), and the teachers are great at their job (I am not speaking of all teachers).

People always say they “hate” Dominican but in reality they hate how much they have to work to pass and how much they really have to try instead of doing one one assignment per night. Parent: Ursuline Academy is an excellent choice for girls! The curriculum is well rounded, rigorous, and fun! Girls are challenge to be critical thinkers and are taught the value of service and “agape” love of God, self, and others. The school is inclusive. Teacher’s and leadership are engaging and care about the students. Sports and extra curricular activities are at top levels-super fun, super cool! And let me tell you, lunch time, does not t disappoint. This was my daughter’s first year at UA . She transitioned from a public school so she had some adjusting to do, so the teachers and staff jumped right in to support her through and now she’s entering UA high school! In all, I’m glad we made the right choice in school for my girl! I’m glad that she is an Ursuline girl!!

Senior: I have been with Holycross since 5th grade, through those early years in middle school I believed that this was the best school ever. The school atmosphere was great the teachers really care for you when you are there, they want you to succeed and make it to the next year. The seniors were great at leading the school and getting all of us excited. They give the students many opportunities to get extra help in classes and they also have many options in after school activities so there is something for everyone. The Highschool side lets us be more independent such as being responsible for getting our work done, while they also keep us mindful of college and what we will have to give to make it through as well as material they teach us.

Senior: I LOVE Chapelle! I go to an all-girl Catholic high school. Chapelle is a home to every chipmunk on campus. Our student council is so awesome because it puts on so many fun events including Challenge, which is a competition with our brother school. We also have really fun dances such as the back to school dance, winter formal, and both junior and senior prom. Chapelle is so unique because the sky is the limit on what we can do. Our faculty is so encouraging of new ideas for events, and they love to see us grow. Our teachers are the absolute best because they help us not only grow in our education but also in our faith and personal lives. We receive our senior rings in the St. Louis Cathedral and graduate in the Saenger Theater! We also have unique classes including life skills and creative writing. The traditions are also beautiful! One thing I would change about Chapelle is that the lunch lines are too long of a wait. It may sound silly, but lunch is serious.

Senior: Randolph-Macon Academy is an amazing school. There’s no doubt about that. Its excellent Air Force JROTC program taught me what it means to be a true leader and to learn and respect everything our military does for this country.

Going to a boarding school did seem scary at first, but you are guaranteed to make great relationships in the dorms. I was very shy when transitioning from a small Middle School where I knew everybody. While this school was a lot larger, I still made many lifelong friends by participating in the school’s sports and intramural opportunities.

When I say the school prepare you for college, it certainly does. Just the fact that this is a boarding school already prepares you for out of state colleges. The military aspect further solidifies your capability to be organized and have proper etiquette. I cannot stress this enough that this school prepares you for real life!
