Senior: It’s been a really awesome experience! Our district has some of the best staff! This staff cares for their students and wants them to excel. They provide us with so many opportunities to grow through the sports and other organizations that they offer. I learned so much about myself and the careers I am interested in trough organizations like FCCLA! I have made a lot of friends with whom I have made so many memories with! Senior: My experience with Palmer has been great. I didn't come to Palmer until I was a freshman but I know for sure that it was the best school in the area. I have taken on many leadership roles that the various classes and my teachers have taught me. It is a smaller school I didn't think it would have as many extracurricular as it did. I got to enjoy FFA and an ag class. The students in the school aren't cliche. We all stick up for each other and we know everyone's name. This makes going to school more bearable and fun. Senior: Northwest High School cares deeply about the development of the students, both on an educational and personal level. Northwest staff strives to make sure their students achieve academically, and all teachers will spend as much extra time as needed to help a student in need. Northwest also pushes students to get involved in extracurricular activities. The students and staff encourage incoming freshmen to look into all sports, clubs, choirs, bands, and and any other activities the school has to offer. The Northwest teachers and staff get to know their students on a personal level, creating bonds that strengthen the students ability to learn and succeed at school. Senior: I like the small rural size of our school. I have enjoyed the small class size so that the instructors are very accessible. They become invested in us personally and not just as a job requirement. Our sports teams offer good competition to larger schools because many of us grew up together as kids and have played together for so long. Crime , drugs and alcohol are not a huge problem. Parent: We love Central City Public Schools. My kids have gotten the help that they have needed to succeed and be ready for college. My children have opened up and found themselves at this great school. I would love to see the much needed updates done to our facilities, as well as adding a bigger better gymnasium. Junior: My Experience throughout these last 3 years at this school have been a great experience. This school is very welcoming, they try there best to show there students the good of coming to school and showing it’s a good environment to be in. They have academy’s here which has helped a lot to figure out what career you would really want to take after high school. This school has helped me out so much and has made it easy for me to be able to graduate a whole year early. In my opinion this school has really great teachers who prove to there students that they are there to help them out through any obstacle. They make it a safe environment and ensure families and students that education is best needed. I am grateful to have been able to study here at this high school.
