Senior: What I like about Lincoln-Way is the amount of attention given to students. All of the teachers and staff work very hard to help students succeed through their next chapter in life in college. My counselor has helped me with applying, early credit opportunities, and my mindset in general. Our sports teams our very committed and passionate about what it takes to run a team and thrive through games win or lose. Our group of students are very passionate about our academics and career opportunities through the variety of electives and classes that are offered here. Senior: Overall, I have had a good experience in the Beecher School District, but the teachers need to be able to control the kids more in all three schools. The bullying at this district has gotten out of hand, even with the administration trying to enforce new rules to report bullying if it ever happens. Junior: Despite what many people have to say about Crete, it is actually a very good school. Just like every school it may have setbacks and conflicts, but Crete, as a whole, tends to rise above past mistakes. The teachers and classes, depending on the ones you take, mentally challenge you for things beyond high school. Junior: I am enjoying my experience at my school. The best parts are meeting different and exciting people as well as the fun extracurricular activities. The teachers are great and supportive as well. The worst part of my experience were the occasional fights between the students as well as the school schedules. Parent: My child attended Southland College Prep High School. He is currently a freshmen at University of Mizzou. The school hours(7:30am-5:00pm) and rigor at his high school definitely prepared him for college. He was involved on the basketball team and their Kappa League team. He states his high school prepared him for the task of "multi-juggling" different classes, extracurricular activities, and a social life at college, the he otherwise may not have been prepared for if he had not attended Southland....
