Senior: River Valley has been a great school to me. I’ve attending River Valley my whole life. During my time there I gained a lot of knowledge for not only certain subjects but for life. I gained a lot of relationships with my peers and teachers. During my time at River Valley I also participated in basketball. Basketball taught me so much. It taught me how to overcome challenged and become a team player. This will carry over to when I attend college and get a job. The coaches I had at River Valley always pushed me to be the best version of myself. Senior: My overall experience at North Union High School has been great. I have moved several times and North Union has been my favorite school to attend by far. The best part of my experience is how the school feels like a big family and the whole community supports all the activites no matter where and when. Senior: When I first started at Elgin I began in kindergarten, Elgin has been my family since I can remember. I remember Elgin when we were 4 different schools and then we became one. I met so many new and amazing people. At Elgin the teachers are amazing, they make sure you understand and can complete a task by yourself. It's a fact that not every teacher is the same, some teachers learn best through teaching off of powerpoints while others teach better hands on and these are both ways that teachers at Elgin teach and it's great. The students are also great at Elgin, everyone is friendly and helpful to their peers and at lunch, it's a great time to understand what's going on with each others lives.
