Senior: Going to the Academy of the Holy Cross, I’ve discovered who I am. I loved growing and learning with other young women and sharing different life/culture/ religious experiences with one another. One great memory that I have from Holy Cross is our Holy Cross days! Huge competition between all the grades from 9-12. At the end of the day we all come together as a community and close with a prayer. Even though traditions at Holy Cross do change I hope that everyone’s energy is in the same place! That is something I hope would never change. One thing I would like to see more from Holy Cross are more presentations and celebrations about people cultures. The Academy of the Holy Cross does a good job with celebrating but I hope that there is a little more effort. I love being apart of the celebration and talking about my heritage.... Read 191 reviews

Junior: Crossland high school has its up and down with students but they pull through with good ideas that’ll help classes for their future. They’ve done lots events that help raise money such as selling popcorn which my class of 2022 manger to raise almost $10k. They provide programs for students called CTE which is a college prep course and have many to choose from like automotive, cosmetology, nursing, and culinary as well as masonry. There are clubs that help with community service hours such as green club which I’m currently in and clubs like band, drama, and announcement team. Parent: My son has had an incredibly positive experience at Lawrence Academy. The teachers are wonderful and nurturing; and the advisor program encourages involvement and good study habits. Lawrence Academy is a community rich with actives; arts and music, athletics, clubs, charitable events as well as leadership opportunities. The staff and administration are continually providing many different ways for students to become involved, promoting the diverse interests of all the students. By joining the soccer team his freshman year, my son made lots of great friends very quickly, both other freshman and upper class-men. He has found LA to be a warm and welcoming environment. Lawrence is a great balance of academics, activities and community. I'm so thankful to have found this perfect place for my son to grow and develop throughout his high school years.
